My phone is 3 days old and I have not turned back. Despite having about 5 handsets in 10 years, this has got to be the most easiest to operate - it is functional, easy to navigate and not over the top. I'm a technical and functional nut & this is just perfect. Despite all the negative feedback, I really dont know what people look for these days in cell phones but this handset is controllable and definitely won't control me.

Bought W980 to replace my W300. Phone is good but the battery is nothing like my old phone. Charge every other day.

This is a wonderful phone. all the doubts i had about about it disappeared when i bought it, except for one. my fm transmitter doesnt work due to legal constraints although it is allowed in my country. i searched everywhere, i contacted SE they said i should update my phone's software, did it, didnt work. i even read that its a simple setting that i have to change, and i couldnt find it :(
does anyone know how i could do it? it's doable. i know it is ...

Amazing phone! i love it!
i was quite bummed though that the fm transmitter doesnt work due to legal constraints eventhough it is allowed in my country. anyway, i've spent the last 2 days surfing the net trying to find any helpful information but in vain. i read about updating my phone's software, did that, doesnt work. i contacted SE, no helpful info, i even read that it was a simple setting i had to change (which made me go crazy cos i couldnt find it). any help from you guys?

Does anyone know if this phone has "Voice Command Dialing"?

I don't see it listed anywhere in the specs, but typically SonyEricsson does have this feature.

ya quite confuse also about da hpm88 and hpm 90...hpm90 u can view many things at ur controller but without nc...erm...so hard to choose also....but is it hbs-980ds only for da wireless user user?but da hpm90 nice but without nc so quite hard to decide.

Is there any way to turn on oppening and closing sound (when I open or close phone). I read in one review that there is sound but I cannot find the way to turn it on?

When it comes to storage...well 8gb of music is for me, very hard to fill. I think the hysteria of memory size is starting to end. I mean, who wants to scroll through 8-16GB music anyways? I have like 2000 songs on my phone and I really don't know what more to fill it with. But hey thats perhaps only me :)

i cant say that every phone is perfect (100%)but i guess this one is amazing from all directions . except the prize . and i cant buy it ahhhaahaaaaa :-(

OMG,someone pls help,the reviews are all mixed good and bad so i really donnt know. Is it better than w910?Does it have extremely good sound qualities?

Doses it have have a LARGE memory space?

Is its camera good?

I plan to buy this phone so someone PLS help!!!
