hi.. im from indonesian. just got for 1 months with the cheapeer price (just hp&charger). little dissapointed,so many limitation to used:( but now:);ive managed to unlocked the password, play mp3 (got beat engine from someone at the opinion 903t). and happy surfing with new opera mini 4,2 with no limit for utube:) but i think the protection just not for mp3 but java program too, so make sure to download with your sim. anf for the contact list.. well must be litle by litle to edit them to easy searching. but still lloking for the pcsuite to connect to pc as modem, is there any clue? plise. Tx.

High quality for Japanese market but there are some disappointments: 1/ The contacts list is my nightmare, 2/ on receiving a new sms I can see only the sender's cell phone number even though the number already exists in the phone and on sim.

we the same unit of toshiba but i cannot play mp3 format? and can i possibly download the software that enabling my unit to be used here in the philippines?

Just got my hands on this 904T (canyon red) for just two weeks now, installing mp3 is not a problem, just need the beat engine box and couple of instructions, and the correct phone number on the settings menu. also, the beat engine box does not support all bitrates, usually, the songs that i load are 128kbps, with sampling of 44.1khz, 192kbps with sampling rate of 44.1khz, 48kbps with sampling rate of 32khz..those were the tested bitrates so far. and its good just like my 803T before. the only thing that is annoying is the Writing Language, it automatically sets itself to T9 english or japanese. no normal multitap, you still need to select from the Input method.
for the phonebook entry, you need to re-edit every single entry if you just copied it from a simcard, then select the search method (By reading) this way, the phone searches for the last name of the entry.
for the beat engine box, try to check the CD that comes with the unit, otherwise, contact me.

how did you get the 904t to connect to the internet with at-mobile or at&t sim card inside?
does internet require vodafone network or tmobile/at&t network to connect to internet?
step by step instructions if i need to set something up in phone settings...

To whom that can not play mp3
Firstly, find the "my detail"sub-menu in the "phonebook" menu then open it and input your mobile number in the "phone number"tab
secondly, using the phone to format the mini sd(setting------>memory settting---------->memory card---------->format card)
thirdly, run beat engine, click tools then click settings then add same mobile number
then you can transfer the music to your phone but watch out, there are a bunch of restriction on file format(less than 192kbps etc.) so some file still can not be read by phone.
