Nokia 6131 review: Highly addictive

David Polesný, 29 June 2006

Nokia has prepared an excellent new phone, which is not only attractive, but also well equipped with modern capabilities. At a pretty competitive price you get a black-silver clamshell with two top-class color displays, automatic opening system, a megapixel camera, radio, a MP3 player, a memory card slot, Bluetooth, EDGE, and a detailed menu.

Sony Ericsson K800 review: Digicam in disguise

Sony Ericsson K800 review: Digicam in disguise

GSMArena team, 26 June 2006

Sony Ericsson K800 is one of the handsets we were so anxious to test that we could hardly wait for the phone to be brought in the office. Its highly advertised Cyber-shot camera made us as restless as kids on Christmas morning. Once we got it and before we started working on this review we spent a good deal of time experimenting with the exciting 3.2 megapixel camera. Not that we haven't seen a better camera, no! The thing is that this good camera just happens to be a good mobile phone, too.

Nokia N71 review: A matter of taste

Nokia N71 review: A matter of taste

GSMArena team, 19 June 2006

Nokia N71 is another Symbian 9.1 smartphone in the collection of Nokia. The new clamshell is well equipped and is aimed in the mid-range of customers. It is based on the S60 3rd edition user interface. N71 has 3G UMTS support and can offer fast data transfer via GPRS and EDGE. Besides the 2 megapixel camera there is also a VGA one for video calls. The construction and design of the phone are quite controversial as it is bulky and somewhat unstable in hand, but this, of course, is a matter of personal taste.

LG KG800 Chocolate review: Dressed to impress

GSMArena team, 31 May 2006

A new LG phone has hit the streets. The possible suspect is described as black, slim, sexy and most of all fashionable. Well then, we might just have some information on that suspect, Mr. Officer. The LG Chocolate phone is a gorgeous mobile phone offering a red-glowing navigation touchpad, 128MB of internal memory, 1.3 megapixel camera and MP3 player, tri-band GSM and GPRS support - all that incorporated into a slim slider shell.

Sony Ericsson K510: Unexpected contender

Sony Ericsson K510 is a new tri-band bar phone with the classic Sony Ericsson K-series design. It will be sold at a reasonable price and as far as our impressions go it would become a price/performance champion. The tri-band GSM 1.3 megapixel camera phone will be labeled K510i for the European market, K510a for the Americas and K510c for China Mainland.

BenQ-Siemens EF81 review: More than a copy

BenQ-Siemens EF81 review: More than a copy

GSMArena team, 23 May 2006

BenQ-Siemens officially released their new slim clamshell EF81 on the market. A lot has been said about it resembling Motorola V3x. Indeed, the new BenQ-Siemens does look like a RAZR and many people would definitely take it for a V3x by mistake when they see it in your hands. But EF81 has a lot more to show and as soon as you devote more time to it, you would definitely find original characteristics that would distinguish it from the V3x in many ways.

N80, one of the latest Nokia handsets, hit the market about 20 days ago and surely it made some big waves along the way. The phone comes in a place of very high class business phones with bunch of features and extras. It features a very good 3 megapixel camera, a hi-resolution display, a miniSD card slot, a FM radio and all this is backed up by advanced connectivity technologies such as quad-band GSM, 3G UMTS, EDGE, and Wi-Fi.

Sony Ericsson W810 review: Walkman on the EDGE

Michal Sedlák, 10 May 2006

A few months after launching its new W810 model, Sony Ericsson delivered it to our office. This black twin of the famous W800 model features EDGE and the main menu has undergone slight modifications. All other applications have remained untouched. The new W810 is much more about color emotions, sport spirit, and launching novelties at all costs.

Sony Ericsson Z530 review: The music beetle

Sony Ericsson Z530 review: The music beetle

GSMArena team, 26 April 2006

Sony Ericsson launched Z530, their latest clamshell with music features just as we expect the W300 model to hit the market. At first glance, the two phones look very similar since they have exactly the same dimensions, but the W300 has more features and a better display. The advantage of Z530 is the expected lower price.

Motorola E1070 review: Chubby RAZR

Motorola E1070 is an attractive clamshell offering plenty of features and the characteristics of the Motorola RAZR model. However, it is thicker. On the other hand, it has conveniences like 3G support, a megapixel camera, a MP3 player and a memory card slot.

Samsung D800 review: A step into high-class

David Polesný, 13 April 2006

It is low, wide, and attracts sights from all around. It is not Ferrari, nor is it Lamborghini. I am writing about the new Samsung D800 - a luxury flat bar with sliding construction, featuring a display of exceptional quality and pretty rich software equipment.

Motorola RAZR V3x review: Sweet-sour mix

Motorola RAZR V3x review: Sweet-sour mix

Michal Sedlák, 13 March 2006

Here comes the most equipped non-OS Motorola phone of all times! Not exactly a razor-thin phone, made of plumy plastic. It features a 2 megapixel camera with brilliant macro mode and flash LED, and a top-class display. 3G is a matter of fact. At the same time, its MP3 player as well as certain features, are somewhat poor.

Nokia 6280 review: High-class slider

Nokia 6280 review: High-class slider

Marek Lutonský, 05 March 2006

Nokia has created its new 6280 as a substitute for Nokia 6230i. Is this a successful move? Nokia 6280 is literally bulged with functions. On the other hand, it features quite an exotic slide-out construction, which provokes missunderstanding in the end user. Read this detailed mega review to find the answer to this question.

Siemens S75 review: Serious competitor

Siemens S75 review: Serious competitor

David Polesný, 05 February 2006

The new Siemens Class S is not just a „boring“ mobile phone meant for work. Apart from luxury elegancy, brilliantly elaborated functions and fast data transfers, it offers an excellent MP3 player and a high-class camera. And what about the price? It’s so low that it is hard to believe.

Motorola L6 review: Affordable RAZR bar

Motorola L6 review: Affordable RAZR bar

Ivo Mareček, 02 February 2006

Everything started with the Razr. The success of the ultra thin clamshell has put Motorola on the top of the high-class phones. Intended for the ordinary user with its reasonable price, the Motorola L6 follows the example. The equipment however won’t shine much; at least the construction will inspire.

Nokia 7370 review: Oh L’Amour

Nokia 7370 review: Oh L’Amour

Michal Sedlák, 24 January 2006

This is the first Nokia phone with swivel design. Moreover, this is a phone that comes as a part of a special fashion line of Nokia models, called L'Amour. It is all covered with flowers and has plenty of innovations: impressive QVGA resolution, active stand-by display, "clouds" interface, appropriate synchronization order...There is no doubt that Nokia 7370 will whirl up the market, especially considering the fact that it stands on the basis of the luxury Nokia 8800!
