03/01/09 - Paid R150.00 for this phone today in Johannesburg, South Africa. It appears to be the cheepest phone on the market. Besides the awful ringtones, I think I got a good deal.

> In reply to rani @ 2008-10-01 12:37 from M9PePress and hold the star (*) key and the keypad will lock.
To unlock press the star key (*) once and then the screen will prompt you to press the 'OK' key at the top left hand of the keypad.

My wife gave this phone a thorough clean together with my shirt in the washing machine: after a couple of days drying out it worked perfectly, sim card as well! Only trouble was, I had to use her battery, as that component ceased......and a new battery cost the same as a replacement phone!

a pretty crap phone really but it answers calls at least and i dont expect a decent phone for that price
How do you "key" lock the phone so as not to keep pressing numbers by mistake?
and how do you write numbers without having to change T9 every time.
