> In reply to artsasinic @ 2009-01-18 01:52 from 0d7BYou first need a texting plan, which can cost as much as $20. If you do not have a plan, it is 10 cents each to receive and send texts Also, you cannot send texts to landline phones. I hope this helped you at all.

My granddaughter has this phone. It seems she can only send and receive texts from other ATT customers. Other people I have on the same plan don't have this problem. Anyone know, is this a setting issue in the phone itself?

I just got this phone and I like it a lot. But I cannot figure out how to turn off or edit the settings on automatic keypad lock? It turns itself on way too quickly. It's very annoying for me. Has anyone figured it out?

my son had this phone for one month and took very good care of it. he had it outside in florida weather and it stopped working. this phone is very sensitive to humidity and att said it was exposed to water and had water damage. ridiculous ! the white sticker inside turned red from just normal use here. dont get this phone.

I got this phone for christmas. it is a really great phone. although the battery life isn't very good and the screen scratches easy. other than that it is a good phone, very easy to type on and very fast. and it is not a smartphone for everyone that keeps asking. i would give it a 4/5.

Great phone for texting. I don't use mobile web or music or video, but I text quite a bit, and this is exactly what I need.
Also, anyone know how to turn off 3G? Seems useless if I'm only talking and texting.

> In reply to Wally @ 2008-10-29 03:29 from iBtvYes, a lot of people will, they're great for kids who are texting nuts. These phones aren't marketed towards people who visit this website or websites like this. Its not a smartphone, its just an inexpensive, and pretty decent texting device.

> In reply to John @ 2008-10-29 01:11 from 2xxqI don't get your point. This is exclusively for US. At&T is releaseing it not Samsung. As of now they don't have Innov8 or Omnia at the US market. Omnia is supposed be released with AT&T in early 2009. Phone manufacturers has little to do. It's the carriers that choose models and ask the manufacturer to customize it. Most of the time they take out features. Until At&T release omnia or innvo8, US market will not see them. We love to see them but helpless. People is US hardly buy Unlocked phones.
