Before I bought this phone, I had been told that there was a melody composer menu in this phone, but I was really disappointed when I purchased it. Why? There wasn't any melody composer. Then I went to the authorized service centre of Samsung and would like to confirm why the information given in the exhibition (I bought this phone in the exhibition of samsung phone) and what I got is totally different. But the staff over there gave me very confusing responds. Some said that this type of phone is upgradeable for the melody composer, but others stated that it can't be upgraded. Then in the phone manual it is written that we could download other 30 polyphonic melodies but the staff told me that they weren't able to do it but they didn't explain why they weren't able to. But this phone is a real great pleasure for me. The ringtones are fantastic but the quality while making or receiving calls is a little small. When we are in crowded area, we can hardly hear what other side is talking.And the LED sometimes doesn't function. To make the LED function again so I have to turn off the phone and then turn it on again.

- You can adjust the clock manually in menu 6 (organiser), sub-menu 4 (clock)
- There is no ringtone creator composer :(
- I would also appreciate to know if somebody finds somewhere to download new ringtones and pictures! ^^

Could someone tell me, this model has ringtone creator composer,right? And is the ringtone load enough??? Plz ..

Great little phone. Really impressed but if anyone can enlighten me how to get ringtones and logos downloaded onto it I would appreciate it.

I've just bought a Samsung A800, nice phone but the clock hasn't automatically adjusted to the current time. Is it possible to set it manually?

I think the phone looks great. It has the same blue face as the A300 but better. I've been looking for PAYG and the best deal I can find is Phones 4U on Virgin for £160, £40 cheaper than other networks. I'm just waiting for them to come back in stock - they've sold out already and I've been to 4 stores.

hi iv just bought the a800 and yes it gorgeous, but one thing....can it get display images downloaded to it cos the ones that come on it are rubbish! the flower is driving me mad!!

A800 kicks ass... only U$275. can you imagine ?? so cheap ?? I've bought one.. 2000 phonebook + 200 sms + 10 minutes voice memo + so many else. plus 3 games as usual.

The instruction manual doesn't say how many sms you can store, just "as many as allows the free memory left"! ^_^
I don't know if it's as easy to use as a Nokia ('cause I've never used a Nokia!), however it's not really hard... Well, I may just say that it's not harder than my old Ericsson T20.

I really want this cute little baby but im findin it tough 2 figure out where 2 get it...when is it gonna be out in essex?! How many sms can u store and is it easy to use cos im only used to nokias? My 8310s really startin to annoy me now tho i want a change and this ones nice!

A very nice lil' phone, a bit expansive though (400 Euros).
Yes: it has blue display.
And yes: it's out yet (but hard to find).
