Mmmm... Only problem I had was taking the B2100 to 0.7m below (5-8mins) water surface and it swallowed significant amount of water between screen and cover, it did NOT die, but it was quite a pain to get the water out... it is/was quite waterproof. Only side-effects are that there is some waterspots on LCD behind cover... So it survived but I don't think one should see these phones as waterproof to 1m as stated. "accidental" immersion sure. Water did not go in via powerport or battery cover... suspect speakers or lefthand buttons. Like the phone nevertheless

hi thirukkumaran ,

i too had this problem once but after switching it off and on, it didnt happen again...

try not to keep ur phone near the computer ups, it may help..

im a man of many sports and believe me this phone is excellent,i got jet ski boats go hiking, divn horse ridn this phone is off the hook

Hey if u r the careless guy.....this is the right phone..but that dosent mean play foot ball with it....battery life quite decent.......8gb rockz....i dont hav any complains....so good 1 samsung!

Brilliant phone! I have this as a secondary phone. I work in a rough environment and I am not comfortable take my Blackberry with, so I use this phone when I am outdoors. It's rough and durable and has enough functions for my needs out in the field. Great one Samsung!

this phone is for those who want a rough n tough phone espically for outdoors. the phone is real good on durabelaty side. i threw it from the 2nd floor n it still works fine! extrmly useful in rainy season. u can tlk in full rain and it wnt effect it. i tried it many times. (u know indian monsoons). further the battery backup is quite decent. (three days with average use). loudspeaker and earphones are both good. flashlight is quite strong and bright and u can trust it completly in darkness (even in rains!). all in all if u really dont look wll after your phone, this is the one for u.

I got a B2100 one month back from univercell in pondicherry...there was a peculiar problem...when i am on the call suddenly the battery indicator will give a battery low alert and the phone switches off..when i swith on my phone again it shows full battery ...it repeats when i am again on the call..I took this phone to the samsung service center and one Mr.Sumesh who sits there promptly attented to my problem and gave me a replacement certificate which i produced to the univercell and got a replacement...The funny thing is that the replaced phone is also giving me the same problem...again i took it to the service center and they tried reinstalling the software but no improvement....what do i do now...though i love this phone for its other features i am helpless and unfortunate to abandon this phone and advice others not to buy this phone since the same problem occured 2 times simultaniouly ...if any samsung techies come across this comment pls mail me and give me a suggestion ....

very good phone. having all multimedia featurs.has very good music player, though display is small but still its good not so bad.headphone has sterio effect its also plus point of this phone. n 1 mor one can creat his own themes its better than other mobiles

Unfortunately,its only have 7 Mb internal memory,..don't you think that makes phone operation move slowly?
