Yes, the phone has dual standby function. And the max amount of SMS in the phone is 300. And still microSD card can't be used for SMS archive storage.

i need to buy this phone. i jst need to ask about its max sms memory cuz i had samsung d880 it only allows 200 max msgs memory without any availability to choose memory card for messages. plz help me with this, can we use memory card as default memory for sms & the max limit?

I notice that changing to a second or alternate sim for use in making call or sending message, the phone must have to reboot. Is it not possible to have a direct switch to the alternate sim without rebooting such as in samsung C6112?

I've noticed the following 2 problems in my 6-month old Samsung B5702:
1. sometimes (several times recently) I get the sound of an incoming SMS but it never appears anywhere
2. some words I've added to the dictionary disappear after some days and I have to re-add them repeatedly

Does anyone know how to fix these problems? Thanks

How do i toggle between two active sim cards? seems it only takes in the default sim card.
