Samsung JET is not a Smart phone so you can install apps.

OmniaII and Pro are Smart Phones.........means you can install a Nav program like Route 66 or TomTom to it and hundreds of other apps.

BTW,. Omnia2 and Pro are identical except for the keyboard on Pro.

dont compare aino with this phone aino is just a basic java phone and more over its just the normal touch screen but samsung has a touch wiz which is easy to navigate...

and most important is aino has touchscreen only when using gallery and games other than that u must use the keypad thats y they given both option so check before u buy

first find out ur uses if u r looking for entertainment i rcmnd jet is a best phone with excellent features it has hd screen with compleat 16 million colour, 5.1 digital( more effective than sony ericsson ) but omnia pro has 65 k colour limitations but am sure aino not worths for money

why you guys keep asking the same question? 1. This phone is not loud.( i use 1) 2. N97 vs Omnia pro? it depend on ur needs, N97 is more of entertaining phone while this is more of business phone( my sis and 1 got both n97 and samsun omnia) and lastly the Battery Life is really really good

Hi everybody. Im confused between this phone and SE Aino cz i hv been using SE for 4 yrs now. Can any one advise on this please? How about the sunlight legibility can u read in sun as well.. i hrd its bit diffucuit to read in sun. how abt the speaker fone are the ringtones loud enuf? is this fone better over AIno as Im impressed by its featues and specs and price less then AIno... please HELP....

ya u can use skype for this phone u can download straight frm skype site but u cant use cam chat thts impossible on phone ... u can use other im programs nice for example im+

battery is so good u can use it for 2 days sure for normal use...

Hi guys,if somebody can help me,I have couple questions for this phone: 1.can I use skype in this phone ,and if I talk via skype can I use camera the person wich I talk with to see me? 2. how long is the battery life in normal use? Hey I'm Sid and I have been using this phone for about a month now. This is why I think it's a great buy and I hope it helps you make a good decision:
*For Rs. 21,500, it has as good or better functionality than many Blackberry models
*Opera Mobile is a great browser on this phone (it works on many phones actually) and makes web browsing enjoyable
*For those contemplating iPhone: I have used it a lot as well and one of the few things it doesn't have that this phone has is folders and file managers. Very easy to receive, edit, store and send docs, ppts,xls etc from colleagues at work.
*The touchscrees is quite responsive but mind you it's not a "touch" a la iPhone but a "tap" screen. Navigating is not fun without using the stylus.
*The phone has a full QWERTY keyboard too, just like N97 making typing a doc or long email very easy.
*The camera is amazing. It has nice features like panoramic and mosaic shots and many effects. This, coupled with video editor makes it a pretty complete business phone.
*Battery life is quite good. I used it for calls maybe 6-7 times a day and I did not recharge for 2 days.
*You can customize the home screens and that makes finding the right stuff easy and fast.
*And of course, having windows mobile makes it very convenient to sync it with your pc.

Verdict: Apart from a few minor points, paisa vasool!

A perfect buy !!..........all features u will like 2 have in ur device......supported by really fast 800 MHz ARM processor.....WELL DONE SAMSUNG !!

mind u this has colour limitation of 65k not only this all microsoft os has the 65 colour limitation wat ever even htc, sony, samsung all the limitation bec of microsoft os.. if u don wan limitation u can go for adrinod os for example galaxy i7000

i just got this mob before a month but my bro using i8000 for 3 month it has lot better loudspk than this
normally u dont have much sounds in loud speaker in all samsung phones but compare to others this has less sound but the head set is so good but it will satisf than i8000 with the qwerty keypad and more specially work mode and life mode which u dont find in i8000 and very useful screen with all shortcuts..... if loud speaker is important for u sure u will b dispntd with this but i just find cam quality is lot better than i8000...

if u wan good sound go for jet mice phone with excellent features 5.1 digital and no colour limitations worths for money i was using this phone for 3 months i was amazed with its perfomance but it dont have os thats the only problem

Got my new b7610 set last week from Mumbai - cost me 21.9K with a 4GB card thrown in. So far so good...have not done too much browsing and no youtubes yet. The look and feel and the ergonomics are too good. Will post more reviews as I start using more advanced features going forward...

omnia 2 has hsdpa and hsupa both but this has only hsdpa but i find the browsing is so good and fast not much difference and more over it has big screen and this has big advantage of qwerty keypad and this has r type touch screen which is smooth than omnia 2
