I would like to comment on the following
-the infrared port is not working
-the time and date on my phone stopped working.It keeps dating back to January 1 1996 and the time keeps going back to 12:00am
I would like appreciate it if any help can be rendered

one of the worst set for downloading purpose. Not at all compatible with any, no memory....

SGH-C100 is one the best productions of SAMSUNG. A nice slim & trim mobile with a smart silver colour body.
I have this phone since 2004. Since then I never faced any major problem with my C100.
A very light weight phone, with a nice key pad and very easy user friendly environment.
I just can say one thing that i have a good time with that phone.
IT has 4 inbuild games("MIDP man" is my fevorite) and some nice polyphonic tones and wallpapers. Now the time has changed, everybody is looking for a phone with a MP3/4 player and camera in it. I am also planing to change my set. But How Can I Forget My First Love!

Fairly a good fone but but yhe browser is on tne downside. So I tried downloading Mini Opera (low memory version) about 65KB from the opera browser site and getjar.com. Interstingly both sites list it versions for Samsung SGH C100. But on launching this java midlet it just crashes. I've tried it many times - sometimes it crashes on downloading and so the foe restarts. Any help out there. I shall be most grateful

well d fone is jus gud 4 people who believe in only calling n recieving calz n sometimes SMSing.not a gr8 fone but luks kinda cute.

this phone sucks...dont buy it.i used that kind of phone 2 years,,because i had no choice.now i have another.samsungs battery is worst.i could use it 1,5-2 days.and irda doesn't work..wap browser neighter.it was so cute,,bute it worked bad.

Fine this phone is ok... the main problem is that the sound is very low n u cant here the phone ring when u r out oin the public or u hav it in ur pocket...do not buy this device....

Its very good in every feature but when i press the gprs button it goes to off and after 5-10 seconds it switched on, Why? i can't use gprs on it. please help.

the phone is good enuf to use but i have a couple of problems with samsung c100...one being that even if the mobile is fully charged...at times when there is an incoming call..and u r not abel to receieve the call ...the mobile switches off and when u switch on the mobile again...it does not even record the missed call which at times becomes really difficult for the user to know who has called...and at times u do miss out on some urgent and important calls..so please do sumthin' to sort out this problem so that people have a record of who has called...another problem is not being able to download ringtones...there is no such sites where u can download ringtones and there is also a limit to it..so if u need to download new ones u have to delete the previous ones...i also have a problem that when a call id finshed..even if u have to disconnect the call..it does not get cut and u hav to keep on pressing the red button continiously to cut the call and in the meantime ur talktime gets increased which in turn increases ur bill....please look into these problems and get it sorted out for other people to avail of these facilities...otherwise the sale will go down for c100....thanx :)
