i dont know if others are having the same issue but in my handset the option for setting alert type to "Vibra+Melody" doesnt work!!! the phone just vibrates if the alert type is set to "Vibra+Melody", theres no melody...if anyone knows how to fix this pls lemme know.

another thing is that unlike other phones u cannot set alarm and then turn the phone off and expect the alarm to ring at the set time. If the phone is off the alarm doesnt ring! i have enabled Autopower but it still doesnt work.

Oh, and what is
the purpouse of color screan here if there is no even garbage megapixel or VGA sensor here??? All it will make difficult to see the screan in the sunlight
(CSTN??!!! 128 x 128 PIXELS??!!!).
GIVE US A MONOHROME SCREAN AT LEAST!

What a shame that such a nice phone has no bluetooth and not a quad-band one!!!!

Bluetooth is a must on
every (even cheap one) phone today-especially on Samsung and especially on the 14 mm thick one (what type of sound quality you can expect here?!).

design is cool.
firmware is a bit slow. if u r a nokia user u will ge frustrated, using C130.
display is not that much good.
sound is of average quality.
still it is a value for money buy.

Its a cute phone to have. Its battery life is appreciatable, but display is not that good.
And i think its a bit slow while selecing the menus...And when we download ringtones its hearing in a very low sound. But for a person who just wants to use it as a mobile it will be a better choice.

saw the mobile samsung c130 though not having great feature yet look wise better than many of samsung having rich features.

to senthil for activating alarm go to set alarm function ...set alarm then press i button which is located at centre...now this function will activate on ur mobile

cute & functional,however software is more complicated for a base phone than base R220 etc
which renders it slow,outer covers are of cheap flimsy plastic, data cable is very expensive compared to phone price

Simple phone for simple people. Got all the essentials and surprisingly it acts as a cell phone only. No gimmicks such as Visual Radio, Camera-10 Mega pixel, Mp3/Mp4, Tv, Broadband etc... Want a Cell phone to make / receive calls & Send / receive sms/mms go for this. Size & weight also excellent. Very handy & user friendly.

This Phone looks Good and quality is ok.But the problem is we cant see the screen in the Sun ........especially for those in India its a little problem and the battery weakens easily. But a good phone for emergency use. I suggest better u put it as a second phone.

I think its not a good set at all...It has lower options than Samsung X100.Which is very old model.

this is what phones are supposed to do, unless you can trough out your photo, video camera...
thats why it only weighs 75g.
so basicly its an emergency phone.
