though it is said to possess a speaker on the
box it doesnt have one.

I don't know why in reviews peoples use to condemn the company for features etc.
doesn't they already know about that before they purchase. What i look in a set is how
they apply those features. I have used/seen various cell phones of Nokia, Samsung,
Motorolla, Samsung and Sagem (my personal favourite) In my opinion there are most
important things here in Pakistan. 1) Signal Strength. 2)Voice reception. 3) voice
quality. 4) ringtone volume. 5) size/weight. 6) durability 7) Price
C130's Signal strength is good (the sagem's & Alkatel is best) at par with Nokia
6021(Hungary made sets). voice reception is also good. Voice quality is ok but not
good, earpiece volume is so loud that I have reduced it to mid level, speaker volume
is also good. ring tone volume is also good. size/weight as anyone can tell is
perfect. oops I cannot tell you about the durability stuff because its not rugged and
is Samsung (In this field nokia is good and sagem is best). Here in Pakistan it is
about 62$ while Nokia 6030 is 83$ (radio (+), weight (-), and of slower wap compare to
Samsung C130 but having 1.2 mb of more memory). i am not going to compare it with
motorola c168 because that i feel is too delicate, as i knew from a source.
In my opinion Samsung C-130 is good cell phone for the peoples who need a phone and
not a gadget workshop here you get what you pay for. Well done Samsung I give it 7 out
of 10 AND not 10 because of speed and average voice quality (ear phone)

the phone holds 200 sms in phone memory, 80 sms in CB memory(dunno what that is) and then your SIM card would also hold some sms, so all in all around 300 messages can be stored in this phone

the design = beautiful and interesting
the spec = no bluetooth, no iR, small memori slot..it's make me think twice to buy this phone

THE Design Of the Phone is really Great and Cool, like n7650. BUT why it doesn't hav InfraRed port... Can any one tell me the secret codes... of this phone?? No Melody+vibra, Not in Profiles (like others).
FOR working vibra+Melody (wait 10sec.) and hear the melody. No Thanks.

I want to transfer the phone numbers from SIM to Phone book memory more than one number at a time, but there is no such option. Can anybody know how to do this.

i am using Nokia 3230 and with tht samsung C130 and in this price range this set is far better than any nokia in same price range, with a good bettery timing and reasonable display, good signal streangth and that's all tht i wanted from this phone and yes msging is quite easy in this phone... wht else u want... ?

How do you sent sms to more than 1 ppl at a time and even though this phone has a "Create Group" function how to sent sms to all in the group ???

i dont know if others are having the same issue but in my handset the option for setting alert type to "Vibra+Melody" doesnt work!!! the phone just vibrates if the alert type is set to "Vibra+Melody", theres no melody...if anyone knows how to fix this pls lemme know.
another thing is that unlike other phones u cannot set alarm and then turn the phone off and expect the alarm to ring at the set time. If the phone is off the alarm doesnt ring! i have enabled Autopower but it still doesnt work.

Oh, and what is
the purpouse of color screan here if there is no even garbage megapixel or VGA sensor here??? All it will make difficult to see the screan in the sunlight
(CSTN??!!! 128 x 128 PIXELS??!!!).
GIVE US A MONOHROME SCREAN AT LEAST!

What a shame that such a nice phone has no bluetooth and not a quad-band one!!!!
Bluetooth is a must on
every (even cheap one) phone today-especially on Samsung and especially on the 14 mm thick one (what type of sound quality you can expect here?!).
