i just bought this phone yesterday for Rs 1810.it is a good phone as compared to the prize.the sound quality is very good.

Samsung c160 (FM Version):
Its a lower end basic phone with all basic functions like sms, fm, gprs, color lcd etc. aand its very stylish candybar.
the main advantages of this phone are
1. FM radio : as the name is samsung c160 fm so the fm is very much good quality especially when u are listening it on handsfree. The handsfree of this set are stylish and very powerfull.
2. Gprs: gprs speed very good in a tiny phone like this and the integrated browser is also remarkable.. you can make custom profiles.
3: Security: when it comes to security samsung is the best.. this phone has also mobile tracker system.. and you can set locks on phone book, sms, pictures, sounds individually also..
4: Colors: Lcd is quit bright and my sonyericsson handset screen looks dull in comparison.. colors are also very fantastic.
5: Alarms: it gives you five differnt alarms with additional morning alarm with snooze feature also. thats makes it a real surprize.
6: phone book and sms: you can store 300 numbers in phone book allowing multiple enteries (MAX=3) per name. sms storage is 100. you can assign different ringtones to different no's. you can send 5 sms at one time...
more over it provides you calculator and converter support also..
It also features a integrated game.. which is cricket in mine one... may be different in other regions.
The main drawbacks are:
Overall slow speed... that means in comparison to nokia sets its slow especially in sms sending and wallpaper setting.
only 4 defualt tones for sms. get bored listening same every day.
No themes.
Only one speaker for all purpose its the fm speaker and callspeaker both..
Bad polyphonic channels.. make tones unpleasent to ears.. but in noise these are good.
no vibration + Ringtone at same time
cant recieve picture sms
no mms support.
you cant type any other adddress while using gprs unless u first disconnet then reconnect.
no auto time setting... evey time u pull out the battery u have to set date.time again.
