It is a good phone but the socket for battery charging and FM connection is not working in my phone since long coast of replace of the socket is too high ( INR 800 + service charge ) quated by company service centre.

great phone ever had, very strong, durable, and sleek,

It is an excellent phone! Very economical and easy to use. GPRS works well. The speaker volume is strong (though sometimes not of great quality). The battery life depends on how you use it. If you keep the contrast and brightness low, you can go 4-5 days without having to recharge. I really love this phone...

I had this fone before.. I miss using this, it is very handy and cute. but it's boring because there are no games installed

this phone has a great design....slim as paper... hard as rock... choose your height and throw it... get it back as the same old c170...
for all those who really handle their phones rough.. this is for u..
only problem is wit its alert type where u cant have both melody as well as vibration at the same time.. a bit annoying... and the sound is really low... so wenever u are out .. keep it in vibrate mode to get to know u hav a call.... :)

Dear Sir,
I've Been using samsung c170 for 2 monthsm i want 2 know that can I some of my own ringtones and pics in the mobile as there is some space ion it and my mobile if i give melody and vibration togather 1st there is 3 vibration then the melody cant it be in the same time and how can i activate the mobile tracker

Samsung C170 is very good ......
But it is very sad that this set was under water one night.... But it is working still now..... good.....
I like samsung....... It's sound is awesome...... Ringtone high.....
