Again good looking phone from samsung
But battery is worst of all mobiles you will find in the world
It lasts not even half a day i.e. not even 12 hours. The time here i am talking is a stand by time..

for me it's a very practical phone,,,but there is a big problem for me that no computer can send to it any folder with the infrared port...i bought it 3 years ago,,it's wonderfull except the infrared i didn't use this option until now

I had that phone less than a year & it's good especially its display clear resolution as the camera mobiles, but its ring tones not clear at the noise area even on maximum and it has not hands free

I used this phone for almost two years. Its a nice phone anyway. I dropped it down several times but nothing happened. But in my last one or two mothns with it, the keypad was not functioning properly.(I had to press more than once to get the outcome)
Anyway its a cool phone. But you cant use the infrared to transfer data. Its getting activated but no option to transfer. Earphone and the mic was excellent. And also the display.

i have had the fone for almost 2 yrs. i like it bt its wap is too slow and the buttons sometimes dont work.

i used this mobile for abt 9months i hatedthis i dint evn put i down but sudenly the zero button stoped working so i hav trouble with tht always...further ir port doent work....other thn this its gud phe

Best phone it`s turning to be 3 yrs,I have been using this phone and I dropped it like 9-12 times and it is still in good position,THANX TO SAMSUNG for putting such a good phone.Keep up the good work.

Hi?i had this phone for 2years.would have kept it longer but i lost it.its a great phone if you're looking for something simple but stylish.The IR was a bit of a let down but i only got it for the fm radio.dropped it a couple of times..even on concrete but its pretty strong.keypad gets troublesome if you text alot. otherwise its a gud phone.

I had been using SGH-C230 for over 2 yrs. It is a good phone in terms of size & weight. As most users seem to complain about infrared not working, I wish to share my experience here.
C230 IR connection is not for data transfer between two mobile phones. IR in this phone is meant only for data transfer to PC using a Samsung PC Studio.
IR port is also widely used as Infrared Modem for Internet browsing. And it works perfectly well. Since I use a laptop, I usually dialup internet using Infrared connection between Laptop & C230. And it works fine. Also I have loaded lot of ringtones and Photos through the infrared connection, using the PC studio.
What it really lacks is some basic features like:-
1. Speakerphone
2. Stopwatch
3. Ring cancelling
4. Silent mode (without Vibrator)
5. Simultaneous Vibra+Ringer
6. Alarm Snooze
7. Same port for USB connection and charging which makes charging impossible when connected to PC.
