Hello ... I live in the US and purchased the SGH-C300 on holiday several years ago in Italy. Don't remember anything about the phone except it does not work here. Could I go to a phone shop in Rome to have a new SIM card installed? Will I then have a new phone number and the ability to call while in Rome?

it is good phone for me but the is one time when i was driving my car put it into my poket when the time i will use it the LCD was break, my question is where did i got a new LCD OF samsung C300 and what is the exact address of your service center pls help us thanks.

I LOVED mine. In the year I owned my Samsung C300 it survived massive abuse and still functioned. Fell into (clean!) toilets, floor mop buckets (with floor soap in the water), dropped many times, stepped on a few times, sand at the beach..I'd still have it if it hadn't been stolen at an airport a few years back.

takes much time to access your messages or phonebook after booting..display quality woukd decrease gradually

i has a major fault in its durability...its ribbon is fault..it smhw dsnt seem to work after 1 year. u loose ur disply and gradually some other functions.It's not a good choice for people who are looking for very basic yet long lasting cell.
