my samsung phone turns off when i close the slide. would like to know why, and if there would be parts avaailable if needed.

Something is wrong with my Samsung c3110. It doesn't play music anymore from my micro SD card and I don't think it can recognize it. It doesn't seem to register my SIM card as well and I checked twice to see if there was a SIM in my phone. All it says is 'Insert SIM'.

I had this phone for over a year. Its very basic and all but you wouldnt believe how many times i dropped it! I had to send it to get fixed once though... And it wouldnt recognise the memory card as well. cos as soon as i put it in it froze up on me! ah well!

then press 4 to go into settings
then press 3 to go into Browser profiles
then go into options -> edit
Erase the homepage url.
this should prevent you from going on the internet when you press the middle silver button..

I have not misused this phone, haven't thrown it from a balcony or droped one spot of water on it, i have been extra special with it careful as, it has been in for repairs 3 times and freezes up, multi media messages won't receive. and i've had it 4 months. this is probably just my handset. but i also find the photos annoying. i take a photo in vertical and it saves it as horizontal.
andi can't video recor, it says it can.. anyone be able to tell me how???

Good value for money. Samsung generally produce high quality products and this phone is no exception. Definitely need to get a micro SD card with this phone as the 15megs of internal memory will quickly get eaten up.

This is a fantastic phone.Best value for your money.Just go for it.Those guys who are complaining about malfunctions would have put it in water or threw it from the balcony.
