i have this phone and is the best phone at this price . he have a lot of functions + he have GPS. it's worth every cent

Hey all.... Just want to know if u can upgrade the OS on this phn? I've been reading opinions and some say u can en some say u can't. Thats confusing hey!!!! But if i can do this where do I get the OS from and how big is the download? Oh and how do i install it without losing my personal data? Thanks. :-)

In my opinion, this is a very powerful phone. There are some points of this phone based from my experience :
1. After more than one year usage, maximum battery life do not dwindle much. It still range around 1-3 days (depend on usage)
2. Camera quality is very clear and good. I'm proud enough to say that it is comparable to Nokia's N97
3. Most of the application are free to download, unlike Blackberry's

I am very dissapointed with samsung for this phone the c6625, and the battery life sucks and i dont have the phone for 2 years yet but im just waiting for the contract two finish with mtn and then i want to get rid of the phone or just to give it away to someone that really wants it

yes it can use mp3 ringtone.. click Menu when HighLight the mp3 on contents manager.. and u can set it as ringtone..
for sms alert tone, it a little tricky. u should put the sounds files (mp3, wav or mid into folder named Ringtones). Good Luck!
