I've been using this hp for 2 years... yes, it's a great phone... most stylish at it's time... very elegent and good looking, it has the best photo quality for its kind of camera. when i bought it (2003), it was one of the best phone in the market, but then... as time passed by.. the screen turned white....cant see anything...what should i do? maybe this phone is designed only to be placed in the showcase rack... not really for everyday usage

Hi people. I am about to buy a samsung D410 but someone just told me that the infrared function is not good at all.I've been trough all these posts, well at least all, but I still don't know what to think.If you can, plz send me an e-mail with your advice, cuz I don't know what to do.I'm very close to buying it, hope it'll be ok.I know it has no mp3, bluetooth and not quite a big memory, but still, I love the phone.In case the infrared function doesn't work, I might reconsider.Thank you and I am waiting for your e-mails. luminitza_joy2002@yahoo.com

i have the phone with me for more than a year but the i have no hassles with it so far. in fact, i love taking pictures with it.the resolution is very clear. the only problem is that the video time is very limited as well as the voice recording. other than that, it is considered a treasure for me.

started with v200 den fall inlove with samsung. i love the design of d410. you just have to take care of it because its not like any other phone that you can change the housing anytime but hey is that how we're supposed to treat something if it's important to us. the service light is so useful coz if i to put my phone in the silent mode all i have to to is peep in my bag and look if the color of my service light is red. the design is sophisticated and still eye catching. never encounter any major problem with my phone unlike the old phone i had of diff brand hanged 3x times so i they have to reformat my phone and lost all my contacts and other impt data in my phone. so far i have no bad experience with my samsung. for me, the quality, maybe not one of the best but certainly good and the price, it's worth buying.

been using it 4 more dan a year. bought it fron an autorize dealer. so far i love the fone & the only problem i encounter was the connector but luckily it happened b4 my warranty expires so i didn't pay a single cent and the people from their service center were so accomodating. started with v200 then fall in love with samsung. eventhough d410 is old model but i still love it. love its design & still eye catching.

excellent phone to have. there's something about this phone which stands out from others although it is an old model but people still "wow" when they see me take out the phone. love the camrea function as it is one of the best VGA i've ever seen. dun really like the sms and the part where you searh for names abit troublesome..but overall, a very classy phone and stands out among phones.

repairman alllways sais,that phone is death,buy it from you,then repair and sell for 3times bigger price.

big thumbs down for this phone and all othed slide-phones..big problems after aprox one year.wondering why suddenly keys or other buttons on slide don't work any more or malfunctioning?Yes!foil problems due to what do yaou think?use of phone.incredible but true.bad materials and poor manufacturing lead to sad results and repairs mai cost up to $50..and results may not prove satisfactory in time

I just traded in my D410, it looked brand new from the outside, not a single scratch. I've always taken good care of it. But I don't know if it's because it's second hand, the phone spoilt 2 times. No LCD screen could be seen at all. it was blank. The repairman said that my phone had a lot of problems and the only way was to give it to someone else.

i have realy enjoyed the phone except for the fact that recently, when I receive a call, the person on the other line could hear me but I could'nt.Please if you ever had this problem, I willlike an idea about how to resolve it.

why the screen goes blank????it is verry important to me......like the others....
i don't know...how to fix it!?!
what should i do??
i don't want to lose this phone 'cause is Samsung and i like Samsung.

The D410 is a flashy kind of phone that speaks class about you, it keeps you seperated from other phone users alike. Although it has a common defect which is with the infrared device. It neither sends nor recieves multimedia components from other phones and i think this is a general problem with all Samsung models. SAMSUNG take note!!!

Screen goes blank or distorted all the time, have to reboot(turn off/on) everytime it does it. Have to keep in slide-up position just to use it. No sound, caller can hear u but u cant hear them both incoming and outbound calls, have to use ear speakers all the time. ring+vibrate doesnt work since day 1. Only had it for a year. not worth it; not good for emergencies. I learned my lesson, i will stay with my junkie old phone, still works perfect. so much for 400 bucks.
