Good phone overall exept for the fact the fact that you have to save all your numbers on phone for caller ID and group settings to work. also the one i got is quite loose, when it is closed it 'creaks' a little bit which is annoying. also on the inbox it does not show the persons name but the number which gets confusing when u get so many messages.

For those deciding between D500/D600, the D600's screen is *significantly* nicer than the D500 (double the resolution) and with MicroSD/Transflash memory card support it's good for storing MP3 or photos (512Mb cards already available). Alternatively, wait for the D510 or the price drop of the D500 when the D510 and D600 are released.

The D500 is an excellent phone that is very well designed & really a pleasure to use.
Value for money this is the BEST phone in the world currently.

HOW IS THE MEMORY OF THIS PHONE???

i mean i have a samsung phone but i can only download like 5 ringtones and 4 screen svers {thats the amount of nonory of the phone}- is this situation is alike in this phone?? plz answer

Im Gonna wait for the D600 i won't get the D500, even though i was waiting for it. The next model is not far off. Im using a Samsung E820T at the moment and it is working Great nice and small.

YO this phone is the sweetest thing everrrr man. I havent had any pproblems so far. PERfect. Bluetooth works flawlessly, and camera is really nice. GReat resolution. Bright screen!

I was gonna pay the 300+ dollars to get it but i found a website to get it at for 40 dollars! Email me if you want the info on the great deal!

HELP!! Does anyone know know why when i send a message some people are unable to reply to it? My friends keep saying they send me replies but I never get them or their phones say the number is not recognised?? Any ideas??

Salwa. I strongly recommand D500.
And If you want, I'd like to suggest D600, upgrade Version of D500.

Can you use a USB Data cable to get mp3's on to the phone or only Bluetooth? I heard that the USB Cord works, but there is not software in english for you to use? Please let me know ASAP, thank you,

Hi all to put your mids at ease i not only purchased one but two D500's, one for my wife and of course the other for me. The phone is very impressive and user friendly. Bluetooth is great to send files.photos, mp3's and videos to other handsets and vice versa. Iam very impressed with the sound quality when using the loud speaker that can be switched on using the up soft key when in chat mode.The secreat menu can be activated with the code but iam not all up to speed with edge technology and iam sure that my network does not support this feature as yet.The speed of the browser is much quicker than normal (depending on your isp) and downloads are a blast. From being a Nokia fan all my adult life and making the jump to Samsung i have not been let down. So go on make the change and have fun!!
