Where can I buy the Samsung D500 in Coral Springs, Florida. I don't want the service, just the phone for a present.

all i wanted to say was that i found the phone awesome. but hey different people have different opinions. one thing i wanted to assure was the overall functionality of the phone is excellent.
note: when you buy this phone make sure you know you are buying a cell phone and make sure it suits your use before making comments.

Hey!

Does anybody know a way I can put mp3 on my Samsung D500 ??.. I don't exactly know how to use the USB cable (still don't know what that is..) or bluetooth!

Please help!!!!

Trish all you have to do is hold onto the # key for a few seconds to activate/deactivate quiet mode.
I have tried sending a business card from my nokia to my d500 and there are no problems.

Simply sexy mobile. Excellent styling. Superb clarity (voice and data). Great connectivity. Well, yes, Covers are a rarity. But, the style wins over.

oops my bad t9 is the predictive text thing? no worries and the business cards? and while im at it a couple of other phones i've looked at have "instant messaging" whats the diff between this and mms and sms etc

David made a comment earlier, cant this phone accept business cards? and what about the predictive text? i use it on my current phone and even though i'll prolly still buy the D500 it might be a little frustrating

in response, you can buy protective covers specially for the d500 from shops such as carphone warehouse. and to turn on t9 in sms press the top right softkey (normally back).

hi everyone, Im going to get a d500 so i need your opinion on this. what colour do you think looks better on the d500, the black or the grey, I think grey but what do you think?

Just took delivery of D500 and not terribly impressed. Does not seem to receive business cards, does not seem to have predictive text in sms function and it seems that I cannot put a protective cover on it because of the slide action!!! anyone have answers for me? much appreciated...I have been using a Sony E t610 for the past 2 years and it does all of the above..

hi!..does this d500 really have a USB port? it says so in the specifications, though i cant find the USB port in the fone

I cannot receive business cards (Name & contact details sent by any users).

Whenever anybody send me their business card via sms, it says INCOMPATIBLE MESSAGE.

This is possible on a nokia handset.Is this a flaw in the model.

Can anyone please HELP.

Hey guys!!
The Samsung d500 is the best! But however..
I left my manual book at a friend's place the FIRST DAY I GOT THE PHONE! LOL so I need help....

Does anybody know how to put mp3 on the Samsung d500?.. either using the bluetooth dongle or USB cable (whatever that means..)

I've been trying to figure out how to put mp3 on my phone for the longest! ..mainly because you can set it as your ringtone ;)
Help help help!

Hi to all in specification there write "USB Port" what does it mean is it fo transfering files (like bluetooth dongle) or what and when you conect your phone with PC did I have to instal any softwre or windows XP automaticly find my D 500 ???

yeah ron allan, u do need to set up and enable wap/gprs to be able to send/receive mms messages. once it took me over a day just to receive an mms message after it was sent.
jimjones is doesnt have wi-fi, not many phones or i dont even think any phone have wi-fi.
Laura yes there is an option to turn into quiet mode by holding the # button. in this mode it just vibrates when u get a call or receive a message. And also recorded videos hav got sound, pretty good sound too i think.
I think that it is a great deseign myself with the slider. it is great as it locks automatically just in case u forget to lock ur phone like a nokia and end up pressing all the buttons making unwanted calls etc.
I also think the battery life of the phone is very good. i get about 3/4 days out of it. Also i bought a spare battery and desktop charger from ebay so its very handy.
Also the languages on the phone depend on wat firmware is on the phone.
