Anyone ever come across a silver colour D500 (Asia Pacific)? Gsmarena indicates that there are 2 colours available yet the digital images only shown for the 'black'... a bit confused. I would prefer to have silver, but wanting to make sure it is available?? Thanks!
Have obtained a ringtone via bluetooth and it has stored it in funbox, voicemail.
Any idea how to activate it as a ringtone??
Gordon u hav da same problem like me..?? yeah if in that case should be normal=p
Is it normal for the phone to start ringing quietly for a second or so, then jump up to normal volume?
i jst got a D500 today and have tried to work out how to use the mp3 player using the booklet but it doesn't explain very well! Help?

to Bob with the usb cable problem..
i know one thing you should do...
you should utilize the Blue tooth for file transfer!!!!
thats my two cents!
For Bob: Re-USB Cable
Have you downloaded the software for the d500 from samsung website? It's about 133mb. I use infra red but my mate uses a usb data cable. He uses the software which he downloaded from the samsung website.
To Christian Brehm :
It was another guy , not me who asked about changing the languages.
My statement was: Every single Samsung phone
vibrates first for 2-3 times and only then rings.
hey got the d500! great phone but one problem... bought a usb cable separately and i can't put any music on my phone... any ideas of what i'm doing wrong?
to andre... d500 cost abt SGD$900 for a 2 year new mobile plan in singapore. d500 has been out for abt 3-4 weeks in singapore and the price has not dropped yet..
does anyone know approx. how much the d500 will cost in hkd or canadian dollars? im thinking of buying one next week when i travel to hk, if anyone can give me an exact or pretty approx price [please make sure you actually know the price and you're not just guessing] then please let me know. also, if you have the price, could you tell me when/where you got it? im hoping its out in hong kong right now and that it wont be too expensive. thanks!

Have a great day...
sadly there is no email address of you...
Try the following from the beginning to set the language to english:
- press the left function key (with these 3 dots) to get into the menu
- 9 for the settings
- afterwards 2 for the the phone options
- one for languages
and there you have to figure out what 'english' is in chinese :-)
My one is by default in german and aparently doesn't support chinise language.
My comment: I haven't tested all the features that phone has, but the fist impression is really good. The developers had many really good ideas, especially on details!
