I think the phone it's great.I'm very pleased.But it has one BIG problem:doesn't ring and vibrate at the same time.Does anyone know a program to put vibration on mp3 files??Plsss......Thx

I think the d500 isn't as good as everyone is makin it out to be. The ringtones will only vibrate then play tone not, it wont play it together like the 6230. There are no profiles for likes of work or general. No call recorder but the 6230 has. 6230 has a good navigation on folders u can create them delete them move them. D500 has none of these options. My opinion to this fone is its looks great has a good screen and good camera THATS IT !!

great phone, just bought it yesterday in indonesia for about $AUD645,haven't use all the features yet. let u all know pretty soon

Ive heard there is a slight delay when taking pics with higher quality. Not only on the D500, i suppose this is because it has a megapixel camera.

i have a question bout dis fone as i am goin to buy it soon. when u turn the cmaera on does it take a long time to focus is it like the se k700 camera when u move the fone about does it take long for it to focus can any1 plz tell me plz plz plz

well,to connect my d500 to my pc,i bought a bluetooth adaptor and plug it into my pc,then just transfer files via bluetooth.its a mad azz phone!

Here are the answers to your doubts:
1. The alarm can alert when its turned off. The D500 has an autopower on option which will make this possible.
2 focus on the camera? do u mean zoom? If so then it has 7x digital zoom in pics and 4x when recordin video. Im pretty sure it has optical zoom as well, at least over 5x.
3. There is the capability to send & receive ringtones, pictures, videos, music you've downloaded via bluetooth. D500 is 1st Samsung that has fully functional bluetooth and infrared.

Very good phone. Excellent display and sound. But.. why is no USB cable provided with the phone? And why is there no memory-card slot. They could have made it a perfect phone, but now it's just excellent.

96MB of internal memory? seems like alot but never enough... no memory card slot? what a waste... they should have made it with expandable memory slot, then it is worthwhile getting this unit, but it's too expensive for the feature. you can get a better phone for this price.

how do you connect the d500 to your pc to transfer mp3 files please let me know as this was one of the reasons i bought it and i cant find out how to do it

can any one help me!
ive recently got a samsung d500, and it is excellent, though i cant receive or send text or calls, and also dont seem to have a mobile number???!!!
my network is vodafone, but displays, limited service???
i thought it could be because i have not activated the sim card, but you need the mobile number, which isnt in with the package!
please help me!!!!!

can't mms video of more than 100kb why ???? anything under a 100kb is only about 3 seconds of video whats the point !!!!

bluetooth , e-mail , mp3-player , 1,3 megapixels , camera and D500 have lots of fun and action ! thanx samsung ! D500 have all ! . its very very good phone this moment !!! i like it ! its best phone what i ever had... !!!

Hi there, had the phone for over a week now and I thinks its the bomb!!
1 problem i'm having is that when trying to set a photo to caller ID I only have the choice of 5 random numbers!!
Please help!!
