Finally BT and mp3!! It seems that someone at Samsung has learnt something. Let's hope the price is affordable enough since the cam is just a cmos type

This is the phone which stop me 100% for buying E800... Sorry for samsung but D500 is the confirm phone to buy hope the price is not Sky high as this is the 1st samsung with bluetooth and MP3 function... Great phone and keeping my fingers cross.. Cheers... hope more grat phone from samsung.

I hope the Bluetooth and Infra Red work with all other phones. If this does Samsung will confirm they are one of the top phone manufacturers. Time to make these new features standard on their phones like bluetooth and mp3's, along with multimedia are things that have kept them behind. It seems they have finally learned. MAKE SURE U CAN TRANSFER DATA BETWEEN PHONES and this is a sure winner. Next for the fm radio as a feature!!

im pretty sure S700 wil turn out to hav a betta cam this. bt hw many ppl actually print the photos taken by a fone? if it looks good on the fone screen, its good enuf i reckon. n besides, if this SS used CCD it wil cost hell of a lot. we can live with CMOS. its 1.3 megapixel after all, stil betta than CMOS VGA..rite?

About the colour, yes, I've seen a silver finsih of the D500 and it does look good too. In terms of camera, it is NOT the best camera in it's class. The Sony Ericsson S700i has the best camera is then 1 megapixel class. D500 uses the cheaper CMOS while S700i is using the CCD.
But in terms of size, D500 is better. As for price, no idea.

Hey, great site! I just wondered if anyone knows whether the new Samsung D500 will have Photo Caller ID? I have heard that it doesn't have this feature? All the other Samsungs have, but it doesn't appear on the specifications on gsmaerna or other sites? Does anyone know? It would be great to know, and a perfect phone if it did! Thanx!
