The sansung "slide up" type of phone are a problem to use because the bottons aren't at the same level. Even though D500 looks like a stealth bomber this problem woul persist ! The features are pretty awesome though..

SOmeone said that this is the greatest phone, but when it gets released there are gonna be better phones. Nokia 6630 Smartphone, with nearly the same features is gonna be released at the same time as the D500. Let's see witch one will sell more!!!! (Hint: THE D500 FOR SHURE!!!!!)

I actually trialed this handset and what I can say is that it will be a great success for Samsung. You don't have to take it as a professional phone like P910 or alike but as a multimedia fun mobile.
-it's small and cute
-great screen
-nice features (effects, flash,...) with the camera Photo/Video
-Great MP3 player with equalizer effects
-IR and Bluetooth
- ...
But one thing I didn't appreciate is the ringing notification : when you call someone and when it starts ringing at his end, the alert/sound you'll hear is a bit cybernetic... and the audio is very metallic.
You can get used to the ringing but the voice quality is a bit poor.

-Autonomy is fair...
Cheers Yo

no doubt dis fone sounds good, but my fear. sammy infrared don't work with any other fone than sammy itself. hope dis is not the case with the bluetooth just introduced.
