Instead of making noises like "buggy" "buggy" in your post, why dont you list out the bugs that you are facing? That way someone who might have faced a similar bug can help you out...
This forum is meant for discussing pros & cons of handsets that are found by users after using them.. And providing solutions if anyone knows them...

The screen on this phone looks good but it breaks very easily. I do NOT recommend it. If you like it for the sliding get a SAGEM MYz-55 or SAGEM MYz-5

Seriously speaking ... this is a buggy phone .DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE .don't fell with the external look . its really a buggy phone .Real waste of money . Go to someother phones like NOKIA & SONY ERICCSON.if u wanna use this as just a phone then it will be a normal one .. if u want to use the technology like GPRS,wap etc..then..this is not a phone u r looking for . Ofcourse , good video quality & audio quality other than that this is not a good phone.Please don't buy this phone .. Don't buy by attractiveness,or from websites or the award winning stories ... award was within samsung mobilesets only .. there was no participation from NOKIA or SONY ERICCSON ... so don't be fooled by this awards and so on...

so i just bought my samsung d500 phone, and i must say it's hot. ofcourse, there are faults..it doesn't vibrate and ring at the same time, it vibrates 3 times, then ring and you can't use an mp3 ringtone as an sms message. however, i don't know how to downloas mp3 ringtones and pictures to my phone, via the usb cable. Please help! (respond via e-mail)

This phone is good. I would rate it 9 out of 10 which is good. Good camera and video recording and I love the sliding mechanism of it! I slide it up and down for ages!

The lid is a very small thing so it needs to be kept very carefully while charging. It wont be lost if kept properly.

I have just bought the Samsung D500 last week and I have observed that while making a call to another party, the ring is very low for the first 2-3 rings and then suddenly it becomes loud and clear. Please advise if this is a design or an issue?

Hi Maria Damásio
The small lid needs to be removed for charging. And then it can be replaced when the charging is done. This small lid is just to keep the handset closed at times when there is no charging taking place.

I purchased this phone last year and after a few days half of the screen went unreadable and a small crack appeared on the internal screen. I sent it back and got a new one but the quality was not good and the screen broke again just by being in my pocket. I have changed to a Nokia 6230 now and it is fantastic! I will NOT buy a Samsung again.

I reallly want to download images, videos etc. onto my samsung D500 but i dont know how to use my USB cable properally i follwed instructions but i cant do it :,( can some1 please explain it simply thanks.

I just got my Samsung SGH-D500 and I cannot find the way to cahrge it. Itlooks like it has a lid at the bottom where the cahrger should go in.

replying to yiggos message, my samsung d500 keypad is pretty dodgy too, it sometimes won't type a letter at all and i have to press another one before it works.
My question to people is how on earth do i load an mp3 playlist from my computer (itunes) to my samsung mp3 player? please email me if you know....i have already used the usb cable and am stuck on the file manager. The tunes already on my phone mp3 show on screen, but i can't seem to drag and drop the playlist into the filemanager to then upload it or download it.!?
