I've had this phone for about 3 months now and I have to say, I've gotten so many comments on it. About the user's comment below, when its on stand-by mode, you can hold one of the arrow keys on the side and it will show you the time. One thing that does get frustrating is when the phone is charging, the light stays on the whole time. Another disadvantage is that there is no card so the phone only holds 10 mp3 songs. Otherwise, GREAT phone design-wise. AND IT CAME OUT BEFORE THE CHOCOLATE, SO SHUTUP LG.

design-wise, it's good and slim but there are some stupid usability issues with the phone. (1) in standby mode, no time is shown.. usually should should in black (2) T9 tries to be TOO smart. pushes the most frequently-used word to be top of the list, so the order is messed up (3) lights up when charging.. WHY?? really stupid. but then again it's samsung, what can u expect.

Does anyone have a problem with opening photos and music, my phone stops for a second and then opens music or image...

This phone is very handy with its flash on the camera,music player ,video recording ability and much more features.I have had this phone for a week and couple of days and i have got complaments non-stop.I have to say that this is the best phone i have ever had in all the phones that i have owned.

I am using this phone(Samsun, D-520) for the last one month the performance is exellent and very light weight, yet i wish a cable connection from and to to PC would help fast down and upload of MP3 and other files.? I wish a cable connection with software for afore said service would be appreciated by samsung Fonders.? Best luck!

been using this phone for about 1mth plus. So far no prob. Only a few weeks using D520, the battery not reliable. The most is about 2 days.. but now, seems okay..(4-5days) w/o play your MP3...

QUICK QUESTION!!


this phone can be brought over and used in Canada right...???? cause i'm seriously considering to buy it but i will be in big trouble if i doesn't work when i buy it to use in Canada.... all i have to do is get it unlocked and insert a sim card right?!?! ..... help meee!! i'm clueless!! haha >

i bought this fone 2 days ago, its amazin you can mute the keys stop moaning,
Go in to your seting in sound setting keypad and say oofff!

Its amazing! any1 need help on how to use it?

I purchased this phone last week from my mobile shop in Spain I loved it but when i went to access email or sent photos it would not let me. The shop that sold it to me told me that it was imported and not yet available in Spain yet I have read that it is now available in Europe. Help as I do not want to change the phone.

very stilysh. if your 1st choice is on look buy this phone. looks like LG Chocolate, but with 50% less money.is you are after functions, buy nokia
2 problems:
1. you cannot change the sound of the keypad tones (even if has 5 choices). it reamin blocked with the annoying "beep". i dont know if is a bug of all or only mine is blocked.
2.after you have more then half of memory full does not read anymore the .xls documents

As for some of the problems posted above: Samsung phones usually or at least the ones I've used, don't allow vibrate and ring tone at the same time. It usually vibrates first (about 4-5 times) then it starts playing whatever ring tone you have it set to.

My phone doesn't remain lit when charging. Maybe you guys can turn off the back light in the settings.

regarding the battery life, i once had a problem with the battery. goes from full to empty in 2 days. found it weird, then i got a new battery from the service centre, and now my fone can last 5 days, with normal usage, without listening to mp3. oh, i'm changing this fone, cuz i'm fed up with the ringtone, cant hear it even when it's in my pocket!! hence, vibration has to be on, (for me), which saps battery life! so for me, BYE!! to this d520.
