I love the D520 I think it is great phone - No other handset comes close, its so much slimmer and thinner than the D500 or D600 and feels great in your hand!!!

If it has to look like D500/D600, then whats the point of releasing it?
I like it thin and square.I would rather opt for this design over roundish D500/D600.

From this specs posted here this world version (D520) of the korean SPH V8400 will be GSM.
But from what I know the SPH V8400 is only on CDMA2000 am I right?

Samsung released this design as SPH-V8400 in korea in October 2005.
Infact Samsung releases all their phones in Korea first.It takes so long time to reach those to the rest of the world that people start saying they copied someone else. Its sad.

they are not making the phone for the universal first,
this phone already came out to Korean market with the name as slimslide phone. they just want to announce this phone to the world, and choose the name as d520, cause its not good as d600 for spec.

D600 was successor of D500. Then D510 was successor of D500. Now D520 is successor of D500...What are you doing Samsung ?
