I bought this phone in August 2006, and only yesterday did I experience any real problems with it. For some reason it refuses to charge. I'm scared I'm going to lose all my contacts because the software for syncing to my computer doesn't seem to be compatible with my Mac :(
It honestly worked perfectly for almost 2 1/2 years.

i got this fone for 2 years and i dropped it in the toilet and on concrete and it works perfectly.

this is a fairly good fone good looking and can take a hit i drop my alot and ive had no problems i dont get wat some people say that there fones break for no reason they probly liein. but the camera is not great should be 2 or more megapixels and there is no memory slot but it has 80mb memory already thats about 20 or so songs buttons r small but still usable but i onle payed $80 for mine on sale best $80 ive ever spent all in all id give it a 7.5 out of 10 so its good but could be better. but its is a great looking fone in black

just switched to nokia 6500 slide from this phone. D520 was really nice. I had it for 1.5 year, dropped it twice while riding a motorcycle, nothing happened to it.

i have had this phone for about two years and it has worked very well. nothing is wrong with it. i have threw it and droped it for about 100 times and it is fine. Although i am about to get a new one. i want the sony ericsson w610i.

ive had this phone for 1 yr i had no problems til just recently. the menu buttons are not working, have to press them very hard 2 work this is frustrating because i cant get into anything without difficultly. keypad works fine. camera isnt the best.

Hi. I got this fone from Overstock.com about 2 days ago, and everything is awesom... except the battery. I got the fone, charged it overnite, and the next day it died by 6:30 pm. is this normal 4 this fone? should i have let the battery completely die b4 charging it for the first time? should i return the fone b4 the return policy is up? some1 plzzz help!

i loved this phone when i first got it! i thought the games, camera quality, memory, bluetooth... ring tones, message tones, mp3 player was awesome!
EXCEPT! within 2 months of buying the phone... it completely shut down and the buttons just wouldn't work so i sent it back and it took ages to get fixed and when i finally got it fixed by the next two months it just started randomly freezing... and completely shutting down and i would lose half of my txt, game, ect. so again a sent it back and it took even longer to fix... when i finally got it back i had it maybe a month... and i was careful with this phone coz it was my first phone and i really liked it but it had a few bumps and drops... like all phones. but one day i just pulled it out of my school bag and BAM the screen had somehow cracked...so i tried to get it fixed in warranty and they seemed to think it was physical damage that normally only happens if i had "abused my phone" WTF! so now they tell me it cost pretty much the same i bought it for to fix... PIECE OF CRAP!

Reasons not to buy this phone:
1. Camera quality is terrible
2. Only 80gb memory
3. Can not set voice records to ringtone/message tone.
4. When you delete and open videos/pictures etc it takes more than 3seconds to load
5. The buttons ware out easily
6. Battery life is bad (3 hours talk time)
7. Bluetooth can only save 5 recipents
8. Games are boring
9. Average price for the d520 is $200 rip-off should be much less.
10. This phone is the worst i've ever had (i usually like Samsung phones.. sorry. i suggest you buy the U700 instead.. plz e-mail me for any reason at:seaannnn_66_99@hotmail.com thanks 4 reading

This is the best phone ever!..i got it last christmas and i just love it. The best thing is the camera and the frames you can have are awesome, i suggest anyone to buy this phone.

you know, if i were to rate this phone, i would give the design an 8-9, features 6-7, and performance a 0 or 1. this phone is actually not bad. it looks sleek and it's very nice looking.
HOWEVER this was the worst $225 i've ever spent. after less than a year (9months) the phone had so much dust that all the keys EXCEPT the dial pad stopped working. and because this phone is only offered in europe, if you have a problem - too bad. you can't get it fixed in the states. i have no idea how to even get the dust out. i've even tried to air it out with a can of air. :[
