I've had this phone for about a month now and I think its great. However, I wished that the camera lens was placed under the sliding cover like the older Samsung slider models instead of being on the outside like now. I got my self-portrait mirror all scratched up from the mobile strap that came with the phone =( I now stick some sticky tape over it to protect it from further damage. And also, the phone strap gets in the way of the camera lens when taking photos because of the positions they are placed on the phone.
Does anyone know how to transfer the sms from the phone to computer?

Dear All
Please can you help. I am having problems trying to download music files from my PC to my phone via bluetooth. A message appears on my computer basically saying ensure OBEX push profile is installed. I don't know what to do to check that. I have a bluetooth transceiver for my keyboard and mouse and have no problems there. I don't know what to do! I have tried installing the software (USB) that comes with the phone but after that my computer starts to act strange (goes slow, plug-ins disable) and it the software doesn't seem to work with my phone!!
I would be most grateful for anyone's advice.

juuu : u'r stuck w/ the ones that come default w/ the fone unfortunately...
INAM : 1) sorry have no idea since i don't live in Dubai
2) I've seen it but never used it personally. The quality aint too crash hot but if you want it to be slightly louder than the speakerphone then go for it i spose. But don't expect much...
3) No, it doesn't come with the D600...
Raul : it depends on how big a transFlash/microSD card u shoved in the unit. But base specs that come std w/ the unit are 64MB transFlash/microSD and 80MB worth of internal storage (varies with how much data u store on the fone in regards to contacts, sms, appointments etc etc...) but a ball park figure would be around about 25 mp3s with the std memory config...
aireal10 : i think both of them mean the same thing, i.e. pointing out the speaker phone feature...
charmaine : it depends on whether you want a thin slider or not. i wouldn't call the D600 "thick" but compared to the D820 it does show. though in fairness wot u gain in havin a slim phone you lose the higher resolution camera sensor (if that matters a lot to u). i personally think that both models are very similar in terms of functionality, the only ajor difference would probably be the thickness and camera sensors. the menu system might need a bit of time to get use to but it's as easy and intuitive as Nokia's imho. The camera quality of this fone is really good provided the subject isn't too close (the D600 has no macro mode). Yes it is true that the mobile can't vibrate and ring at the same time, u can only choose vibrate only, ring only or vibrate then ring. there are a few keypad tone options that u can choose on the phone : Off, DTMF, Beep, Xylophone and Simple...
romy : when in the File Manager > Photos "Image Viewer" go to the photo you want and press the two side "volume" keys on the LHS. up for zoom in and down for zoom out...

This phone's amazing! A couple of days ago, i had to run the cross country for school(4km)and decide to bring the phone with me on the run to call and listen to music(pretty stupid of me). So yeah, i ran/jog 4km with me holding the phone in my hand and no damage to it since whatsoever! Thats durability for ya!
