Raul, I had problems connecting my phone to the PC too. This is what worked for me.
1. Uninstall all files/programs relating to Samsung PC Studio through add/remove programs. Then Reboot PC.
2. Install the USB driver only using the CD provided.
3. Plug in your USB cable and let the PC find it automatically. It should say "new hardware found". Just click on this and it will install automatically.
4. Install the PC studio software using the CD provided.

Had this for about an hour. This phone looks gorgeous but the pictures and video are not quite up to my std (currently have a K750i) and the killer for me was the fact the mp3 player didn't even have a manual EQ - you're forced to stick with 3 presets...it's a stupid little thing but it cost them a sale. The screen is beautiful however and so is the GUI.
Maybe I'm spoilt cos I already have a near perfect phone but the mp3/EQ thing really killed it for me.

You CAN play mp3s directly from a memory card...ive had this model for 6 months!

ive had the samsung d600 for a week i think its a good phone apart from the shortcut keys along the lefthand side of the main screen,does any one out there know how to get rid of these.thanx

John, try X700... it even has 1.3mp cam, card slot and EDGE..still cost less than SLVR..read the review.

to john.. in my opinion the d600 is in a totally diff league to the slvr, motorolas are also notoriously unreliable (the famous frozen white screen problem mainly), the slvr also has a crap vga camera (640x480) compared to the 2megapixel this phone has.. they are in different sectors of the market and the d600 is more expensive cos its better simple as that

hi,
How do you install games on the D600? i downloaded some games (jad/jar files) but the phone says that it can't support this format, but it's the same format as the inbuilt games???

Please answer my questions for this phone
1) Is the picture quality is better than SE K750i and W800i?(I am not sure if Cnetasia,Gsmarena and mobile-review got it right as this 2MP camera is blur.)
2) Can it transfer a 8MB of MP3 file on the internet to this phone and other MP3 phones via bluetooth?
3) Does MP3 player play in well (I am not sure if Cnetasia is right as it's not as good as SE Walkman phones.)
4) Does it record up to one hour of video?
5) How long can it last while listening to MP3?
6) How good is TV-output and document viewer?
7) Is 1GB MicroSD can put four folders for music and it is the same as X700?
PLEASE TELL ME THE ANSWERS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND U CAN TELL ME THE OTHER DETAILS WHICH I FORGET TO PUT IN.
