juuu : u'r stuck w/ the ones that come default w/ the fone unfortunately...
INAM : 1) sorry have no idea since i don't live in Dubai
2) I've seen it but never used it personally. The quality aint too crash hot but if you want it to be slightly louder than the speakerphone then go for it i spose. But don't expect much...
3) No, it doesn't come with the D600...
Raul : it depends on how big a transFlash/microSD card u shoved in the unit. But base specs that come std w/ the unit are 64MB transFlash/microSD and 80MB worth of internal storage (varies with how much data u store on the fone in regards to contacts, sms, appointments etc etc...) but a ball park figure would be around about 25 mp3s with the std memory config...
aireal10 : i think both of them mean the same thing, i.e. pointing out the speaker phone feature...
charmaine : it depends on whether you want a thin slider or not. i wouldn't call the D600 "thick" but compared to the D820 it does show. though in fairness wot u gain in havin a slim phone you lose the higher resolution camera sensor (if that matters a lot to u). i personally think that both models are very similar in terms of functionality, the only ajor difference would probably be the thickness and camera sensors. the menu system might need a bit of time to get use to but it's as easy and intuitive as Nokia's imho. The camera quality of this fone is really good provided the subject isn't too close (the D600 has no macro mode). Yes it is true that the mobile can't vibrate and ring at the same time, u can only choose vibrate only, ring only or vibrate then ring. there are a few keypad tone options that u can choose on the phone : Off, DTMF, Beep, Xylophone and Simple...
romy : when in the File Manager > Photos "Image Viewer" go to the photo you want and press the two side "volume" keys on the LHS. up for zoom in and down for zoom out...
you can't set music to messages? or are u stuck with the ones on the phone?

This phone's amazing! A couple of days ago, i had to run the cross country for school(4km)and decide to bring the phone with me on the run to call and listen to music(pretty stupid of me). So yeah, i ran/jog 4km with me holding the phone in my hand and no damage to it since whatsoever! Thats durability for ya!
Does Anyone tell me what's the difference between builtin handsfree & integrated handsfree.PLEASE...
Iam unable to receive/send sms from my new phone, wonder if I can get some advise
i think this phone is great. the pictures and videos come out great on my computer. small and compact. definetly an ice breaker phone
This truly is the worst phone ever, and I have had my fiar share of phones. First the phone opens and closes too easy in my pocket, all speakers are terrible quality i can never hear what people are saying and it keeps cutting out. But the most annoying thing of all is those manditory 10 default message tones which you have to use other than vibrate. Whos idea was it to make such an expensive phone that is stuck with the most annoying ear-piercing jingling bells or whatever the hell they are.
All round quite a terrible phone for the value.
Oh yeah poor battery life - full then dead flat in 12 hours.
If you find one, trade it in for a nokia 5110.
hi, would u guys recommend the samsung d600 or d820? im currently using nokia 7610, its time to change, but im worried the features and functions are very different from nokia's.
how's the camera quality and is it true that samsung cannot ring and vibrate at the same time? how about the keypad tones? thank you hope to hear a reply! :D
i think the D600 is an awesome phone, the only function i dont like is that you cant hav vibrate and ringat the same time other than that its great!!! it gets a 9/10 from me.
I was wondering if anyone knows how to get the Opera Mini software to work on this phone. Thanks.
1}.Anybody know about the prices of 512MB & 1GB microSD (T-Flash) cards in Dubai or anybody know about any website for pricing in Dirhams(UAE Currency)???
2}.Anybody have used Stereo Speaker Dock for D600??? How louder sound is produced with it??? Will u recommend this product???
3}.Anybody have used MyVu (private video viewer)??? Is this product in the package of D600??? How much this product individually costs???
Plz anwer my Questions at this forum or Email me. Thanx a lot (sorry 4 my english)
What the hell u r talking about. I think u r feeling jealousy from Samsung. Samsung has produced a lot of best phones & D600 is one of the best phone produced by any Brand ever.
"Thirdly the usage of the mirco sd card is very little.. wad i mean is every songs images u want to display or play in this phone have to save into phone memory, u cannot play directly from the sd card, thus taking up alot of phone memory.. cannot load lots of song only the most 10 songs and mAx." Chriz
chriz i think your mistaken, all you have to do is play through the actual mp3 program select your songs and put into playlist, instead of goin directly to the file and playing.
This phone is cool. had for a week now. waiting for one gig card so i can watch more video. the speakers are the best. cameras cool. but the data cable transfer is awfully slow and the software was a little messed up for me in the beginning. much better to get a card reader.
Does anyone know a decent 3gp converter program? and if deres any good sites for D600 Java games?
