Yes you can play MP3 directly from memory card. I run a 1gb card and works perfectly. You DO NOT have to transfer MP3 file over to phone to play it. You only have to do this if you want to use it as a ring tone.

Please help, the only place I could transfer my mp3 files to the phone is in "Other Files", and now, it wont play, "file not supported" nor can i use it as a ringtone (which is what i REALLY want to do)! I don't have a memory card, is that the problem? Thanks in advance!!!

Raul, You do it using the Samsung PC Studio software supplied. You just transfer it via USB cable.

Deyaa - You cannot play MP3 directly from memory card
- You can use camera without slide. Just unlock the keys and press camera button on side.
- The sound is good. There are 2 speakers.

Em, Unfortunately you cannot change the message tone. You are stuck with the ones already on the phone.

it is really a outstanding products again by samsung but.. of course every product have its pros and cons.. firstly this phone slider is gD.. but kinda of shaky and give consumers the feeling it aint that rigid.Secondly the mp3 cannot play in background mode which means u cannot do other stuffs with the mp3 on. Thirdly the usage of the mirco sd card is very little.. wad i mean is every songs images u want to display or play in this phone have to save into phone memory, u cannot play directly from the sd card, thus taking up alot of phone memory.. cannot load lots of song only the most 10 songs and mAx.

Sara u didnt put ur email add. so i m answering ur question here..u cant transfer things from the phone dont have bluetooth u can use usb cable to transfer stuff in ur phone from computer or any phone that have bluetooth but with infrared u cant transfer stuff...mail back ;) tak3 car3
