The only thing with the d600 is you can't set up your own personal message tone.

Is anyone using a 1GB memory card with the phone? I've read from other discussion forums (in chinese) that some users are using 1GB cards on the phone and it works the same.

They said at the time when phone was first released, transflash memory was developed to 512MB max. only, that is why Samsung said the phone supports 512MB max.

I'm now waiting to buy a memory card, and wondering if anyone else have tried a 1GB card on the phone and it still worked fine.

This is the phone of the year. Those of who doesn't like it go to hell and use ugly moto or nokia phones.

Hi, I've been using D600 for last 1 month. Here is some tips that may help you.

1. while viewing an image, the volume buttons(at left side) helps to zoom in/out

2. pressing 1 while playing video switches to full screen

3. there r lots of camera shortcuts u can find useful from options->camera shortcuts while taking photos

One big problem is battery life. It has a poor battery life comparing to Nokia. I don't know whether u r facing it or not. May be changing the battery or firmware update may help...

Does anyone know how to add your own pictures when sending SMS's. I know this can be done with MMS but i'm talking about when you're in the 'New message' screen for sms's and you go:
-> "Options"
-> "4. Add picture"
-> "2. My picture"

How do you put your own custom picture there to send. I realize that the quality of these types of pictures is crappy at best, but any help would be appreciated.
thx in advance
