I got Samsung D600 since a week and i'm exploring it, i have 2 questions here if anybody can answer it please:
-1st question:what about the sound quality for the ear speaker (not the handfree and not the earphone).
I'm a nokia user and i feel nokia have a better sound quality.
-2nd question:all the D600, once you have an incomming call, starts by a low volume ring then goes high after couple of minutes regardless the ringtone or i just have a problem in my mobile???

D600 CANNOT COLLECT MY E-MAIL
I liked the phone while I had it for four months, but I need a phone that can access my e-mail account. This phone cannot. I am with one of South Africa's major Internet SP's, Telkom (still the nation's only telecom) and have my e-mail with their Intekom service. Samsung have acknowledged in an e-mail (after about four months of trying to get the problem resolved)that the D600 cannot access e-mail on the Intekom mail servers, and that Samsung don't intend doing anything about it because their phone complies with international standards, and I must sort it out with my ISP.
I have dumped the Samsung D600 and am now an extremely happy user of a Sony Ericsson K750i. which sends and received e-mails for me without a problem.

For one ive read that a guy posted on gsmarena that all you have to do to fix the phone connect to the pc problem is to to get ur card read in the phone, u must change a setting in the phone first. go phone settings > usb settings > mass storage.
Is this true?
If you are using a memory card this is true, however you can just move items to card once on the phone..
In your particular experiance what is the battery life? Please include time you spend talking as well as using other features. Thanks.
I use the phone frequently and have no problem with battery, when it is fully charged just keep it going for 30 - 60 mins longer..
Standby time is great when not being used also..
Also, is there any problem at all with putting an mp4 movie on the phone? Also, is it nice when it is connected to the tv?
Mpeg 4 is great quality just make sure the video is in the right resolution, when connected to the tv it is great and expect phone to go into standby when it is connected to tv.
Also, i have had samsungs before and they, in the past, they have had no complete silence profile (that i have been able to find) Have they fixed that with this model? Especially since i know that samsung sliders have possibly the loudest vibration on the market. This makes the phone anything but personable. I cant have it doing that in the middle of class lol.
I think i have seen the silent mode on the phone, but email me tonight to get 100% guarentee as i will have my phone later.
Sorry about inputting my email address wrong yesterday! wondered why no one emailed me!!
Send me your Q's now.

I bought this phone a few months ago and im very happy with it. The features are excellent and it looks hot! the only problem i found with this phone is that the battery can run flat earlier than expected. and the message tones are set by the phone. But the camera screen quality and connectivity are all world class. well done samsung.

to Gaurav:
The best way i have found to help battery life supstantially is to charge your battery untill it says full. Then take it off the charger and put it back on for a little bit. It substantially helps the battery life in my experiance. Although it may take a little patience and attention it is well worth the work. :)

hi, i had my D600 for about 2 weeks now. The phones excellent so far, no damage, no dodgey screen or connection or stuff like that but there are a few flaws. One of which is how you connect it to the pc and it recharges the phone. Doesn't that reduce battery life because of plugging and unpugging all the time? is there a solution?. And another problem is the down button of the phone, the deisgn of it prohibits pressing the down button properly. (and btw my fingers arent fat =P)
