hi..i got this phone..it rockz....tho i find that the sliding construction isnt as smooth as D500 as it has a rough sound wen u slide it...and wen i play an mp3 or video which i saved in my memory card..it seems to load much slower compared to playing something saved in the internal memory..does anyone have the same problems as me? tq in advance
I brought this phone thinking it will be a lseek phone which will aloow me to easily type my text messages and make calls. This phone is the worst I have had. My first phone became faulty and I had it replaced, now the new one worked for a week and the light is not working!!! Also when writing text messages it does not allow me to put in abbreviations like speech marks etc. The phone is like plastic! Not happy at all!!!!
Ok Striker it depends, which you want more? a good photo phone for closeup shots(D500) or a phone that has more features but the camera sucks for close up picz(D600). Both phones have basically the same features, only that the D600 has more, ur able to add memory(transflash), u can hook it up to ur TV and view everything ur phone can like videos and hear MP3s, its got 2 loud speakers for 3D sound(surround/stereo), its got a bigger screen and its overall better with a 2MP cam but its bad for close ups....still unsure then e-mail me::Ram130@hotmail.com, i'm in Jamaica and will be getting this phone by end of January but i know alot about it.
i can answer 2 questions ere the tv output m8 so u can plug n watch ure dvd's listen to ure tunes n look at ure pic's on ure tv and the maxamum memory u can add is 2gig there bwt 160 bar inabit
I brought a samsung d600.., but, i have a question..., someboby had conected the d600 whit a radio for lisen mp3?
-THE MAXIUMUM MEMORY U CAN ADD IS 512MB-BAZ- the TV output features is to let you view the videos, pictures or hear you MP3s that are on your phone on the TV, you will get a supplied cable.
Does anyone know if the camera has a macro mode, and if so, how to activate it?
Tying to take some close-up pics and the quality is absolutely terrible.
If there is no macro mode, does anyone have any tips on how to get decent quality close-up shots??
You need to install the PC Suite CD that came with the phone and connect the phone to PC via USB (cable also supplied)
Once connected, this allows you to import and export files, pics, mp3s etc etc.
hey can anyone tell me how to put things like documents onto the phone? or how to put things from my phone to the computer?(if it can) can someone tell me fast because this is very urgent. thanx.
btw anyone know where to get NORMAL ringtones...things that actually sound like telefones and not the latest 50cent? or a Casio keyboard bossanova? Their is ONE normal ring and it annoys me? any thoughts?
users guide is downloadable @
www.samsung.com (who'd a thought...)
find your country/language and presto...
it's awesome typical woes, battery life etc. the camera isn't explained properly in the guide, excuse my ignorance but what do the different quality settings stand for?
The sms functions are irritatingly complex and the fact that you have to "save and send" everytime you want to have your outgoing texts saved I'm not used to yet...the photo quality is ok, I got one GREAT pic but don't remember the settings i used :0
Any ideas on those camera specs?
Also the fact that the camera isn't protected isn't great either...but i"m generally satisfied
HELP!!! I have lost my userguide and dont know how to set up my e-mail account.
This phone is a big dissapointment. The sound quality is cheap and the volume poor. The listening clarity is not as good as cheaper opposition makes. Why is the phone not programmed to vibrate and ring at the same time? How it was chosen as cell phone of the year I don`t know.
Hi Can anyone please tell me how to or if I can transfer via blutooth my texts from mobile to pc? Urgent as Im having a prob with mob and need to take it into shop. thanks.
I deal in mobile phones and have had a phew last year iv found samsung to be outstanding i had the e530 wich was unexpectidly superb then i got the d600 and still have it with no intention to change.there are some things i would have changed the ruber thumb strip for the d500 would have been there and the battery life would have been longer
with the TV output u could basicaly connect ur mobile to the TV directly and watch what ever u have recorded on the TV in full screen.
hey look i am new da hole fone thing and was wondering wat the tv out put function was replys would be greatly appreacited
I used w800i b4. Really impressed with it's audio out function. Does D600 got this fucntion??
Looks and feels good to the touch! Amazing screen. Good photos (but was expecting better quality). The best at video recording and playing. Easy texting-but quite laborious to actually send messages (lots of menus and options to go through). Great sound quality. Incredible connectivity. One of the easiest phones to set up.
