There are no 'test' phones for sale. Even so-called 'reputable' sellers on ebay with a lot of positive feedback may have had their accounts hijacked (basically someone guesses or hacks their password) then someone 'sells' stuff via their account but of course wants payment via direct transfer, wire, whatever. This phone has not been released, therefore do not buy it. Once it is released, your local Samsung dealer (ie. a SHOP) will have it, you can play with it first, buy it, and go back later to beat them up if it breaks.

btw I don't recommend buying the test phones.. the real ones are coming out very soon.

the D600 on Ebay are the test phones..
But becareful.. I saw one 'power seller' guy selling D600. Buy it from a safe guy.

could someone in the mobile world please let me know if d600,s on ebay are genuine or not as there are plenty of dealings of d600 for the past two weeks in the uk and epecially in romania .please can someone confirm if they have received one from these people or are they hoaxes thanks

Guys.. A lot of websites are stating the release date to July 15 today. I think Samsung announced the release date.
It's hard for three websites to have the same release date. So it must be true...

If the article that intreviewed the company that makes the D600 lense is true.

Ryan you always say it's accurate and reliable information, even 5 days ago when you said it would be released in 5 days. It's only accurate and reliable when Samsung are moving the final product off the production line, and confirming shipping dates to the dealers, which they are not yet. If you have confirmed correspondence from Samsung, please share it.

There is no release date set yet.. But we know approximately when it will come out.. And it will be in 1 or 2 weeks.

There is no release date set yet. Samsung will release when a) they are satisfied the phone is at acceptable quality (eg. the firmware) and b) it is an appropriate time to release the D510 and D600 so as to not prematurely kill their D500 sales. Many people are claiming release dates which are just made up, this is not helpful.

Street price should be around USD$390 equivalent although list price might be quite high. Be careful when you buy. Please buy from a shop rather than internet store! The local shop here has the D500 for $320.
The memory is approximately 88Mb, and it takes MicroSD or TransFlash cards to expand this memory.

it still doesn't have Push to Talk function. Battery life is poor (if you are going to be using the MP3 and camera a lot.. which will be the main feature). Still not perfect...
but samsung always does this and they perposely leave out some functions for their next model. But I suppose it's the best phone in its catagory....
