having recently participated in the world cyber games at cebit the d600 was there for all to see and use its an exellent phone with a good quality camera my only problem was the camera is on the back thus no need to slide phone up to take photo,so as the d600 is small it can be a bit of a pain taking pictures....still an exellent phone though,and i was informed by samsung it will be released august

samsung really sucks ....it's phones are too idiot they are discusting and hideously.....nokia are the best phones..high quality and great fuatures and also great design.....non of the samsung has symbian os or software despite nokia...so NOKIA FOR EVER

I don't think Samsung is trying to be the first with everything. If you look at the Asia'n marked, they soon got 7mega pixel phones. And Samsung is one of the leading mobilphone predusers over there. So they got the technology. It's just the "western marked" who ain't ready for it.

the d500 is NOT metal. It is plastic like all other cheap toy like phones out there. If you want a good quality, good looking METAL phone, go for a MOTO RAZR V3 which is aluminium and copper alloy. The d600 is also plastic although it is nice looking (A LOT NICER THAN ITS PREDECESSOR D500). It has forgot only one thing...
...a radio!

Only Indonesian people said Nokia is the best.
But as Indonesian, i said no one can defeat samsung. Samsung using good quality for the housing, not like Nokia, using plastic / fiber housing, just like a kids toy.
Almost all nokia type having trouble, exactly hang. Never with samsung.
Samsung D-500 wow keren (cool), hope D-600 cooming as soon as possible. Don't buy Nokia, just fool man do it.

i'm now using samsung d500...
i'm feeling quite okay using that model...
hope that d600 will come out on market soon...
i want to know how nice the photo taken by this d600,2.0mega pixel...
hope so...

The samsung products are real shit!Because they trying to be the first in everything,thats not good.They brings to the mobiles whtas the newest,but not looking in its quality!The quality of samsung phones rae realy low,if you buy the nokia or SE you dont have any problem!

In the beginning Nokia ruled with sony ericsson right behind and along them were motorola. But along came samsung and quite frankley i like them so much more. There screens are really good quality and bright. And there always the first to implement the next colour screen pixel system. And now a 7MP phone just got released all be it not for the uk, but come on nokia.....7MP....Nokia are not even up to 2MP yet.LOL. When samsung released the d500 they cleared up a lot of issues by adding a megapixel camera, 262k screen, and bluetooth. And now the D600 has gone a few steps more with 2MP and a memory slot.
Oh and lads can i just clear one think up for you. The tv output on the D600 is just that an 'output, not a tuner. All that means is that it can be plugged in the tv to veiw pics and movies on the big screen. TV trials have not even formally begun yet on the consumer market.But nice from samsung though.

I already have the D500 having parted wayes with nokia. I was in need of a change and i can say that the people over in Korea are definatley doing a hell of a job. for the first time i dont have to worry about my battery life. Ju a quick question anybody who can help me....does the d500 use a CCD or CMOS camera lens
