just bought the d600 today and its awesome. i had a nokia 6630 and im glad to see the back of it now. got a 1gb tflash card and it works like a treat. top class phone by a first time samsung user
Is there a way to save files directlty to memory card. I am trying to download a 100mb file and can't seem to save it directlty to my 1 gig card. Please help
Is there a faster way to trnasfer music from PC to phone. It takes a long time with USB
Can this phone take a 2 gig card? Is there any way to add more functions to the mp3 player(fast forward etc,). Is there any way to make the phone ring loud right away, mine is soft for the first to rings? Is there any way to make it louder? Any tips on making battery last longer? is there a update firmware for it?
D600 is a nice looking phone, but there a several niggles:
1. Music player can only play 120 songs in four albums that you have to set up, what's that all about? It should just pick up all the mp3s on my memory card and play them.
2. WAP 2 / Web Browser generally sucks compared to similar browsers on Sony Ericson, Nokia, I'm unable to get Opera Mini to work.
3. Java Midlets should be treated as normal applications so shortcuts can be set to them.
4. Can install midlets via bluetooth or memory card.
5. Finally, the menu navigation often has too many confirmations, so is not slick at all.
Next time I will have a smartphone such as a Nokia N-Series because of the more flexible software.
well, it is certainly one of the best available phones on the market.. Even after half year of usage it still seems fine for me. Lately I've been considering changing it to D900; however the advantages of latter are not that impressive to pay the difference. Gonna stick with D600 for a while. What is your opinion in range of Samsung products? Is there something worth switching right know?
i purchased this phone 6months ago and there is quite a few things im very disappointed with for one you cant have vibration and melody (ringtones)working at the same time. The messages that are sent from your phone are not automatically saved.Plus you have to keep loading and swapping your mp3s around to the play list and to memory card. But besides that everything else seems fine.
most durable phone i've ever seen. I dropped it like 5 times already and one was dropped facing the ground from the bus while i was walking out. still working great though there are several scratches.
nice camera and the best part is the battery. i never have to recharge it till the 3rd day. great pick-up signal phone as well. so far the best phone that i've seen from samsung
Is there anyway to make the battery last longer. Mine seems to drain very fast.
When i recieve or send pictures, it jus comes up with *unknown subscriber*.Can anyone please tell me why this comes up??? Many Thanks. Kelz xxx
hi there i'm going to buy this phone but one thing puts me off- is it correct that the phone has no 'voice dial' does this mean no voice dial when using bluetooth??
can someone tell me if d600 has it in black? because i`ve seen ppo use a black one before . . it was pure black there wasn't any gray linings
Is there anyway to add functionality to the phone's music player (fast forward, pause, etc.).??? Thanks
Is there anyway to speed up music transfers from computer to phone via USB?
i think the cellphone is very funtional.. and have what i need
My phone does not ring right away. For some reason for the first two rings it is silent and kicks in on third ring. Is there anyway to make it ring immediately?
This is probably the best phone i have ever used!!!!! Samsung LCD screens are the best crisp-sharp reolutions ever!
Loads of features...would recommend!
