Can someone pleeeeeeeeez help me - should the screen stay live/idle mode etc where you can see if you have any new messages etc? I cannot believe that I should have to unlock the phone evrytime I want to check to see if I have any new messages, missed calls etc? Maybe my handset is faulty? Can anyone help?

Memorycard for D600 hard to find and unpopular???????
D600 has MicroSD slot, which mean it support TransFlash (or Micro SD cards).
This type of memory is THE MOST OFTEN USED and THE MOST POPULAR memory cards as far as mobile phones are concerned.

this fone is amazin u have to admit but it is annoyin wen u cant set a decent message tone so that is crap also there is no options for themes although you cant set screensaves either that dusnt bother me much as they are pointless anyway + the memorycards are hard to find (were i live anyway) witch is sugesting they arent very popular witch proovs no1 wants them but apart from that its a good fone lol thanx

Well if the phone doesnt support screensavers then y does it say in the booklet that it comes with 'wallpapers and screensavers'?? also that can actually go in the other files folder i cnt move photos or anythin in there??

i bough the samsung d600. first samsung fone ive ever had as i always get nokias,, the only thig im disappointed in, is the message tones dont have mp3 and the ringer cant go on silent for incomin calls which is annouyin as i always seem to get calls wen im sleepin

I've had this phone for a little over a week now but I have 1 problem with it.
How can I find the apostrophe symbol when I want to type a text message? I don't use predictive text and can't find it in any of the usual places!

i've been using this phone for about 3 months now so far here my pros and cons:
pros:
-very sharp color display
-very smooth sliding design
-can play mp3,mp4 and 3gp files
-99% stable on current Firmware: D600DXEK 4
-2.0 MP camera with flash
-document viewer support(doc,xls,ppt,pdf,txt)
-audio/video out for tv for projector
-can use mp3 as ringtone
-nice audio quality (w series SE is better)
-external memory support(microSD/Transflash)
-enough built-in memory 72MB (shared)
-can be charged through USB with PC Studio.
cons:
-incompatible sending vcard with nokia & SE.
-can't play wav files
-camera has no autofocus
-can't support 30fps mp4 video recording
-limited sms tone like SE
Conclusion:
so far those cons is minimal for me. this is the best design i ever had. (RECOMMENDED)

Nice looking phone but not up to scratch. Sync software with Outlook is very poor! Recption in buildings is also nowhere near a Nokia. Very disappointed.

get d600 i was well happy with the purchase ! sony ericcsons r brill fones , but d600 pisses all over it ! and im usually only a nokia buyer lol

baterry advice........
for people having problems with the battery.. firstly you are ment to charge for 14 hours the first 3 times, after every full 14 hour charge fully disscharge the baterry every single time, if you want to have the full potential of battery life.
more advice from me, but where are the answers to my questions.. :( no more from me guys. laters..aligaters. lol
