How do you remove the acknowledgement sound everytime an SMS is sent or when a profile has ben saved?

hi i just got this mobile 2days back.. as it has dual sim which can function simultaneously, i was not able to check the other features.. i was a little bit disappointed as some features on my old mobile are not here.. i tried to follow the instruction in the manual but i cant put a thumbnail for my contacts and i cant also personalize the ring tone for a particular contact persons in my list. please correct me if i am wrong, there is an auto keypad lock but if you switch it off i don’t know how to lock it manually..also in my folder features you can transfer your message from your inbox to my folder but you can’t arrange or sequence your messages by sub folder as sub folder feature is not available. the only good thing here is the dual functions itself. but the rest of the features of the ordinary phone are not applicable here. Also battery life spam is only one day..

how about the battery back up is it good than china set or its same as that of china piece battery longing for one day only.?

hy. bought one d780 two days ago....very excited,makes my life a lot easier,
one question though: only 30 songs alowed in player's list? anyone knows how to put all the music in the player? (more than 30 songs anyway).

why should there be clicking at the side of the phone? can this be included in the menu options or settings. if you have hust tried the "myPhone" B22 Duo or the T22 Duo its the better, only the keypad can fade easily and hard to press. i hope the samsung makers can improve the changing of sim function from sim1 to sim2 easily. hey! we're in the hitech era, i believe samsung can do it, or this is just a strategy so many can buy now & upgrade later. "marketing strategy"...

the auto keypad lock can be switched off. go to Settings > Phone Settings > Auto keypad lock and set to Off.
auto answering of calls can also be switch off. go to Settings > Call Settings > All Calls > Answering Mode > and uncheck Auto answer.

i just purchase this mobile d-780 on 08/07/08
i got proplim.
1- when i got miss call or call the mobile
automaticly open.
2-second thing while browzing the menu for
few second automaticly key pad locked.
i dont know is this normal or not?

All you have to do is just press the button (located on the left side upper part of the phone) until the desired sim is highlighted. Then press send button for SMS or press green button to call. Thats it!

i went to a Mall, i visited one of the samsung dealers, i tried one, its good. however, it seems that the rebooting function will make delay and hassle. in my case, my job which i use two cellphones i thought this could be a big help. because a better dual sim function than the MyPhone but i don't like the rebooting because it become hassle. i hope you get what i mean.

it will be very costly and it has just 2mp camera but dual sim function is very good
