to ALL "complainers":
it.s an dual SIM phone, not an mp3 player, not an playstation, not an dvd player, it has enough good functions/aplications for a phone...for me the fact that it.s made by Samsung says it all...no more china low products...just a good brand name dual SIM. I was a Nokia fun..but when Nokia says that: "a dual SIM phone will just lower the phone buyers - and divide them at two" - I said good going SAMSUNG...that.s a real producer who concerns about their cusomers needs - even that their buying one ore two products!!!

2 SIMS with different operators, but the SIM that is set as slave has limited capabilities ( you cannot use it for example for browsing, etc.)

It is better to improve the battery life and/or
energy comsumption. I got the D880 with 2 days standby life.

D880 can work with 2 sims from different operators, so I think D780 can do too.

nice looking duos! I will replace my bulky D880 for this one once it comes out. Technically, feature wise, the D880 is better. It has 3.15mp camera and bigger display. But this one is far thinner and better design. Hopefully, it will work in the USA with any networks and both sims active. Unlike the D880, you have to keep rebooting to either sims in onder to check messages.
