I am using phone for 2 years. But in most of Samsung
phones if we user BSNL sim the message is not displayed after the call complete (i.e.balance). Can any body help me.?????

ve been using this fone for a year plus now. my major problem is it can't download software like dictionary, bible, no games ......men sometimes it's boring to use dis fone tho it saves me the stress of carrying two phones. The battery is fucked anyway but it's good a kind of in a way

In my experience the message handling of this phone is absolutely horrible! To think the company would allow you to send and receive but not keep EMS messages-- which means special character, multiple recipient, or long enough to split into more than one message. These are available ONLY on the handset, and you can never get them to your card or PC.

I'm going back to Nokia today.

This is a great phone but I will not keep it! Why? Because the software absolutely stinks!!! You would think that having been released to market two years ago, Samsung would provide soft that can transfer your messages to the PS. WRONG!

I have spent almost 12 hrs non-stop trying to accomplish this but there seems to be absolutely no way of preserving EMS msgs, except if you manually split them and forward one-by-one. So much for the time stamps that were so crucial for me.

No help on the boards, and even the company response is lame, Quote:

"Unfortunately this is correct. Text that requires more than one message to send will be seen as an EMS message, and these can only be viewed on the handset itself."

So long Samsung, until you get it together on this.

How i download the wireless net work on the phone SGH-D780 . (S/W Version ccd240.003). (Dev. Version D780JPII2) These version ok for UEA & KSA . Please let me known as soon possible.

The problem that i'm havimg with this phone is i can download software like Bible, dictionary & games. The games that come with the phone are tryer version, asking you to buy.
