Well just begun using the phone recently,quite okay but i have noted one particular problem.Whenever i put sim 1 as the default the phone works for sometime then restarts and request for pin,but when sim 2 is on default i actually don't encounter this problem.Would you please advice as a matter of urgency.

As such the phone is good. But display is poor when used outdoors. Only major problem is that sms messages get stored only on the sim card. Therefore every now & then message inbox has to be emptied otherwise messages do not get downloaded. Sim card capacity is limited. Dunno what to do. Anybody know how to increase the capacity of the sms inbox? Like storing messages on the phone or the memory card?

Photo & video camera's r very good. Battery is for 1 day. Total options r good. good quality.

hello, I was using my D780 for a year, its ok but I have the problem of the battery it will weak not more than 1 day, especially when I'm using radio or mp3 the battery will weak very fast.That is my problem about this model.
and when Im asking at the store, this model is not available, just asking if this model was faceout at the market.

wel...its a nice phone,the only problem is the battery...it doesnt last for long

I have been using it for over a year now. Phone is good but battery is not that great. Works fine if I am not driving. During driving, the phone's network tends to get very week.
I am looking for a firmware upgrade now. Not sure what the firmware version is now in the new phones, but my phone has the firmware as D780DDHF1 and software version as CCD240.003
To find these details type *#1111# for the software version and *#1234# for the firmware version.
Can you let me know the firmware and software version in your D780 phones?

I just bought my d780 and i realise that it is made in china, i want to know if this is an original samsung d780, which country apart from korea produces this original phone.

been great to use it for over a year, but suddenly the motherboard burned out for no reason (i got from the sc).
i also has problems with java, ain't a good phone for java
still it's too bad it broke down

My d780 make seems to be fake coz it has 45 mb internal and i hav a 1gb mem card but hanging. camera not working just shaking also rebooting itself. i upgraded software but stil. help plz
