I got the samsung d800 for christmas, I have dropped it so many times, only in a hot tub and it still works great! The reception is awesome, the features are sweet... so much better then the chocolate phone! Its so not an imitation. My firend and I compared the D800 with the her choloclate phone, no comparison, the D800 was so much better!

Cannot find the way to transfer pictures from the phone to the pc via USB cable. In menu I find only bluetooth option, but I have got the original USB cable.

I want to buy the samsung d800.But I am worried about buying an imitation version.
How do i know the fon is original and not imitation.

i have the d807 and its quite easy to use the menu is not complicated as other brands camera is very good for a 1.3mp if you are a music lover this is a good phone

I had this phone for about 2 weeks in the white version and it looked beautyfull but i changed my mind about it when i experienced the fact that it had a very poor reception even with an antenna booster and the battery life is crap, if you play with it using the cam and video won't last more than 1 1/2 hour.I decided to go for the sony k750, now and i can't wait to receive it, i hope it's better than this, the features on d800 are not bad , the menu is acceptable and mine was never freezing, but how good is that if you have to carry a charger after you, and the camera is average to poor, nothing shoking.You can find better phones at the price of the d800.

Well guys, I have the Samsung Black Carbon. And if you should know, most of it is made out of plastic. And boy my phone scratches easily. And if thats plastic, think about metal or silver! Boy you are gonna need a case. If I was gonna get this phone I would definitely get it in white. This color minimizes the chance that people will notice the scratches. Trust me. Get white.

in my opiniojn great fone had it a bit now and amazin best fone ive ever had...looks great and expensive battery life is good and sound is loud and clear , camera is good except cant find the flash and i love the big clear screen i would recommend this fone 2 anyone wanting to buy it. x.

I had the D807...the overall design of the
phone is good, very stylish.
However, the overall performance is not that
great. Reception is poor, drop calls, don't receive calls sometimes. The ringer volume is good however, when you use a mp3 as a ringer it is not very loud. The only upside to the performance is the battery, I would get about 2.5 days of battery life. There are other Samsung slider phones that perform better than this model.

I previously had the SGH-D807 model (part of the 800 series anyways), and I must say:

Pros
• Very stylish.
• Performance is above average.
• User-friendly.

Cons
• Screen is very fragile. Cracks very easily.
• Volume (overall, inc. speaker) is soft... too soft.

I loved my d807... until the screen cracked heavily. I dropped it on a concrete driveway and my baby was dead. If you are going to use the 800s, buy insurance!

Amazing phone,best ive personally ever had, the D500 i personaaly was to small. This how ever was the best phone. Accept the low battery life - which is present in all samsungs. This phone has beeen overhshadowed by the d900. i would still have it accept the dog ate it :\

The best thing about this phone is the display...crystal clear. Mp3 player is nice too...all in all, a great phone.

This is a underful phone, a good design.... to slider.... a great colour... black is a fantastique colour.... a classic colour... i like this... colour .... but i think... in my opnion.... he has a great phone to have a more memory to expandig a card slot..... i like very much this PHONE .... I HAVE ONE...
