I have this phone for like 3 months now. The first two were ok but now the phone backlight Stays off for a while after I slide it up or just stays off and if im in the internet the backlight turns off.
Dont get the phone!!!!

had this fone for about 2 weeks cant sop playing on it i love it! has everytink on it just what neone cud expect! looks very stylish and expensive!! intrent acss is vry good ! every1 stop moaning no quarms at all apart frm the light stays on wen charger thts all no biggy!!ite inabit x

I have this phone for gift to my husband
and he really like it. Hes a fun of samsung cellphone.He does not want any brand except samsung.

I bought the D807 a couple of days ago, and this is a great phone, the only drawback is that it does not save SMS to the phone's memory, it saves them directly to the SIM.
As far as an MP3 player, it works great, get a 1G card and load it up with music. It takes great photos (but lacks a flash).
Give it a try, i was looking for a mega-pixel mobile with MP3 player and slick looking and this is the best phone I found.

how do you set the missed call alert? i've read through the manual and tired playing around with the phone but i still can't figure it out. Thanks for the help

Ive had the phone for like 5 months now and its only bug is that when I exit the browser the phone just shows the startup screen again and resets. Another bug was that when I make a call to someone that is far away and I don't use the long distance code (011) the phone freezes and I have to take the battery out and turn it on again to make the phone react. Too all people that are thinking of buying this phone buy a Sony Ericsson w810i or a LG KG800 or a Sony Ericsson K750 or a Razr V3i or V3x. All these phones that I just mentioned are by far better than D800. Probably the people that just buy the phone without thinking are driven to the phone by emotions rather than by sense. If you like Samsung for phones, get a D900, D820 P200, E730, D870, D807, X830 or something.

I loved this phone until i got it. I am a big nokia fan, and this fan has been disappointing, the battery life has this phone going dead on me every day. The features are nothing close to my old 6620, nd overall i shud've stuck to the bigger, uglier phone with better features, sorry if i ruined it for neone, but im just being real

I got the D800 and within a month, it broke on me. Since it was an overseas phone, I can't get it repaired in the US or UK, so now I'm stuck with a broken phone that I paid alot for. The problem with it is that I can't even get pass the starting screen so it needs a reset or something. And there's no flash although it said there's flash. I can't find flash anywhere.

ive got the d800 white one. but the camera resolution is different to the black d800. all d800 white ones has stripes going down the screen. changed the camera, had the software changed and also changed the lcd screen but same problem. does anyone know the solution to this??

i have a slight problem.do u know if where the charger and the data cable goes in that small "tongue" is supposed to move a little bit?is it nomal?i mean stick something thin in it and see if it moves.Pls email me at blackietheone@yahoo.com.thanks a milion

Had this Phone for 3 Months now and I think it is great
I am a big SE fan and it took a lot of convincing for me to get the handset but i do not regret the decision for a moment
The only negative comments I have is that it took me maybe a day to get used to the keypad

I got the d800 yesterday. im the kind of guy that plays around with a phone a lot. i haven't had a single problem. Guyz, don't listen to the bad comments. Its a great phone

Think the phone is fantastic, great style , great performance and generally fab, only bad thing i can see at the momant is the keypad can be semi difficult to text as its almost flush with the phone,but after a while you get used to it, only thing left is to figure out how to download songs from my pc to the phone itself?!!! One last thing the colour is fantastic, Pink, definatley the way to go with the ladies!!!
