Did you notised that when you are reading sms ifi it is vivid mode there are some pictures for some words... Like cat, dog atc... Can someone tell me where I can find all these pictures? THANKS

good phone but it has some problems:-
1- low sound volume.
2- Battary lasts for only 2 days
3- hard to open the shell ( u need ur both hands to open it ) and i dropped it alot when trying to open
4- phone keys are not comfortable to use and some times u need to press the key more than one time to respond ( avoid to buy if u writing messages alot)

its very good phone but it's problems is the very low volume and the phone became very slow when i browse the pics in the memory but also i love it:)

Volume is pretty weak on the phone. Vibrate and Tones will not play at the same time. Battery life lasts about 2 days, 3 days at most.
Installing Java games via USB or MicroSD card was a problem until recently. If you would like to install games, use the following code on your phone: *#9998*javainstall# . Use the numbers instead of the letters. It will give you a confirmation that says "Activated" which enables Java installations. Use the code again to turn off Java installs.

thats really Great.I have the red one and its language in "Persian" is really perfect and wonderful..I just recommended not to type with your nails.and the weak point is its low voice..but I still believe that it's a reaaly great phone with so many equipment and advantages.

this phone has jast one weak point:
weak Volume Speaker
instead of it has a Fantastic LCD, Powerfull Camre( especialy in Sun light) and very easy installing Game and Programs stracture
Totally it is a good Phone ( I have it Since last year)

my memory card gets very slow when trying to see the pictures in the memory card. wht can be done to make it faster..??

I agree with an opinion that it has more drawbacks than advantages since it is really inconvenient to open it (you have to use both hands) and difficult to type on its keypad. Moreover, its sound is low even if u make max volume and signal (i.e. antenna) capability is not strong enough against Nokia's. It is just polished toy and nothing more!!!

I bought one last month. Now I realise I have done a big mistake by buying this.
It has only drawbacks than advantages,
1. Its hard to open..you need to use your both hands to opn the phone)
2. The keypad is not smooth. sometimes need more force for the key impression,
3. The sound is toooooo low...Loudspeaker is good for nothing.
4. Menu navigation is not easy. For example to add a new entry to the contacts you need to answer a lot of question.

mpTW: Just do this: Menu->Settings->Lighting Settings->Backlight time->Show cover indicator->ON
But it only works with battery and signal strength..

Hi can someone please help me ?
Is the external display on the SGHD830 supposed to show the time,date,signal and battery strength at all times ?
Mine doesnt and will only display for a few seconds when switching on or fliping open/closed :( Surely it should be on at all times otherwise this defeats the purpose of an external display?
Also can you have the themed display like on the D900 that shows Big Ben when in UK and Eifell tower when in France etc along with clouds during day and nightsky during night hours? I cant seem to find the option on mine :(
I dont know if mine is faulty or not and whether to exchange based on the above questions ?
I dont think the keypad is as bad as everyone makes out. I dont think it will be a problem for me :)

Great phone, I had an i-mate JasJam before, but this phone is not nearly as good !
Slim design, Metal casing, Built in answering machine, Outlook contacts can be synchronized with a press of a button !!

I really wouldnt advise anyone to buy this phone if you text alot, the key pad is so aggrivating and every word has to be typed a few times as it doesnt pick up what your pressing. Also It can be awkward to open and I dropped it alot because of this when I first got it. The camera is ok but goes blury if you move at all.
