i have this phone for quite a while now...but i dont understand why when u play the song on the media player it has a volume till 14 but for the ringtone its only up till 7
does anyone know how to improve the volume for ringtone?? i keep missing calls =\

hmm,i find it hard to hear my phone ringing.. basically,the ringing volume is really weak despite i set up to the highest volume.. i would appreciate if anyone could help me.. thanks..

i got D830 week ago and man its great..i just love it.. i was using SE k700i its battery was pathetic bt i liked this mobile in every aspect..!!

First impressions are quite good. I've bought a USB cable to use with my PC. I've also bought a 1GB Motorola micro SD card (it comes with an adapter to download stuff).I like the big screen, however I've trying to locate a site to download free themes. Any suggestions?

I have just got the red D830, the battery life is long even though I play mp3 through R35 bluetooth stereo earphone for 2 hours and occasional telephone calls a day, it left 30% battery life. Remember the battery is small and the battery life is above my expectation.
The touch of the keypad still acceptable.
No regret of using it. I love it espeially the red one

Battery is very good compared to phones in its class. I go through the day having around 70% batter left. I use it moderately (about 1 hour talk, no music playback, bluetooth on, and sync it with pc twice a day)

I like that phone with worst battery life I like Flip phones & My D830 is extreme Stylish phone with great features and worst battery coz i just pay for style nothing else more...Dont know y Samsung is not improving like SonyEricsson in battery department....Oh God Gr8 Stylish phone with worst battery...

Excellent Stylish phone i like flip phones and i buy that phone only because of its style but its battery life is much worest then my expectations. Dont know why Samsung is not improving like SonyEricsson in battery Department....Oh God Excellent Stylish Phone With worest battery....Coz i pay only for style....

it was strong than i thought.
i enojoy it now. red color~
but i like to change to D900.
I regret why didnt choose that model

Yeah the thinner the phone, the shorter the battery life. I recently bought the SGH-X820, the thin bar phone. Definately would have to recharge every night on regular use. Just buy an extra battery. Buy it for it's style and uniqueness, not it's bettery life.

i think the phone is perfect.......perfect sape..quite slim.easy to put in the pocket widout any burden.
But i think the only problem wid this phon is tht its batttery lasts for a very short period of time,it does not supppport themes and no extra tone can be set up for message....
