this fone is looks cool but the problems i am having are:-
1.this fone cannot apply themes like in SE or Nokia
2.to apply a full screen wallpaper photograph must be clicked by the fone....
can any one help on this????????????

is there anything atall that makes this samsung different from others, there are too mnay of the same i personally think, just in a different model but with exactly the same features..they bore me!

Someone please HELP!
I’ve been using the phone for three months and of late it started behaving strangely. The problem with the phone is that the screen flashes continuously when I access my contacts, games, my files and when I input data i.e. typing. It becomes permanently dull/dim when I open a photo, game and maybe some which I haven’t noticed. It flashes more when set to a black skin than when on a white skin.
What could be the problem?

Someone help me please!
I've been using this phone for 3 months. From last week, it started behaving strangly.
The problem with it is that the screen flashes and becomes dull/dim especially when it's on a black skin. It does that more when I access the contacts, my files (photos), games and when I type like when searching for a name in the phone book and text messages.
What could be the problem?

After 30 seconds the screen goes black and you can't see time or any missed calls or texts. How do you change this. Is this a fault or am I missing something with the settings?

Hi. Thnax Manoj for advising me how to increase the vidio capturing time. Now i have another problem, 1st is that k let me know that how could i set any ringtone on sms massenging, 2nd is that how i could i save caller rong tone, means diffrent tones for different caller. if any one know that, plz let me know, i'll be thankfull...

You can go to options > Timer > set it to off.
Then you can capture a video till you want.

deciding between d830, d840, and z370...
is it true that you cant set your own photos as wallpaper with the d840?? sad.
can anyone give me pros and cons between these three models? thanks a lot!
wudve wanted the v3xx but everybody seems to have razrs already. hoping to join the samsung family. goodbye nokia and sony ericsson! =p

This phone sucks man.. looks great but many important options are missing.
1. If u can't hide contacts stored in phone when u r using sim contacts -visa versa ( both the contacts will display)
2.Very few tone will vibrate and ring at the same time.
3.U can't make a playlist of the songs which are stored in memory stick ( can u belive this)
4.No default outgoing msg save option.
5.U can't hide time and date in wallpaper.
6.Displays memory card symbol always on wallpaper(god knows y)
7.No Fm.
8.No data cable available with the box.
9. Battery life is very low. Even though handsfree and cahrger port is same.

Hi, i just buy Samsung D840 Before 4 days, i like the set but i'm little confuse about camera, i dont know how to increase the video capture timeingi have juse the timing of video capture 10 sec to 15 sec) & watching the video clips on full screen, if any one Know the function of that please do tell me that how chould i set that thing.. i'll be very thankfull.. bye

Hi - Have had my Chrome D840 for approxd. 3 months, love the phone, just a couple of problems, low life of battery it needs recharging every other day, also when I recharge it seems to loose the test message service centre number, thus, when sending text's I have to input the service number manually, also, is there any way of changing to ring/vibrate mode as opposed to having vibrate/ring mode. every day alarm option is there with the phone. I couldnt find any accessories for the phone. its unavailable..not even an external battery charger
