to download the MP3 songs.

Take the memory card out and transfer the songs directly.

I tried to use the samsung PC studio multimedia manager soft to transfer the songs..however..it cannot recongise the memory card..[weird]

Anyway..thats how i transfered the songs onto my phone. Hope that helps.

Am living in tanzania, i have enjoyed using samsung D 800. but the way how it is nice with 3mp camera, it is very discomfortable to use camera without flash. It is a challenge to samsung mobile that they should think to make better thing than the previous. Just imagine the long version like D500 had flash how comes this beutiful and new version made without camera? Samsung think big.

my 2nd day of ownership. So far so good.
I have notice one thing really strange. The phone will slow down quite a lot if continous using. However, when I re-start the phone. It turns back to normal.
In the menu>setting>memory setting>clear phone memory

What does CLEAR PHONE MEMORY do? free up the space? or erase the built in memory?

I bought this phone, and got the iphone as a gift. So I sold my D880 and started using the D500 and the iphone. Now I'm pissed, cause the iphone does not support 2 sims. That's why I'm selling my iphone and getting this ugly ugly, but without any competition, phone.
Is there a chance for a dual sim nokia or a symbian samsung dual sim?

I want to divert voice calls to secondary sim to another number (same service provider). When I select call settings/voice calls/call diverting/select 2nd sim/divert always/ add the number and select activate, it comes up with Not Available. Anyone tried this and how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

why does it need to be shut off while initializing the other SIM cards? why can't i just choose between to same cards at the same time when sending an SMS?

I have the exact same problem with copying the phonebook from phone to pc. Still did not find anyone to help me. Synchronizing the calendar is also a nightmare. I gave up on synchronizing. I sent samsung an email explaining the problem but no reply.

All, I discovered u could actually install java games/appz greater than 512kB, as I installed an appz of 2100KB ie 2.1MB. What I did was to modify the JAD file by modifying its MIDlet-Jar-Size to be less than 512kB and it install the appz without any problem.
However, the size allocated to games/appz is still small at 4M, if anyone knows how to repartition the shared memory pls do post it.

having used it for 3 months wasn't fun at all, problems started from day one with the software which I had to take it for repair, then low receiving for SIM2, then the red button stopped working and the phone died on me, then the disply went crazy and started acting strange, the battery is flat in max 2 days, built is speaker is very weak, ...
i'm gonna buy 2 phones and get rid of D-880 caz its only make you feel like you put your other SIM in a safe place !!!
