i am currently using the d600... brilliant little phone, but since it has no fm radio, i might be opted to try the SE w900i... as for the battery, all my buddies with their SE and motorola's outlast my d600...otherwise the sounds nifty...

I am considering buying this phone because i dont want to move from samsung there phones are the best looks wise, BUT i really hoped they would correct some of there WIDELY RECONISED problems which are in most of there handsets. (I CURRENTLY HAVE D600). But still no MP3 as txt alert, no FM radio, no track reconisation ....... the list goes on and on.
I am now looking at the k800i although it is UGLY in comparason its overflowing with extras! I had a sony phone before which i hated, but the K800i seems to meet my needs.

Re anon PU2{

sorry, but you are way off concerning the video quality on samsung phones compared to nokia and se. the fact is, the video quality on all of them is pretty crap, the best being the nokia n90 and n80. I work in a phone shop and so handle all phones, and samsung cameras are terrible. My girlfriend has an e900 and the lack of autofocus and image stabiliser means that the still camera quality is poor and difficult to use, especially compared to equivalent handsets like the w800/k750.

as for video recording, no phone has really set the world alight in this department, and it will probably take the n93 to change this, although the sacrifice will be made in terms of size and weight. the se k800 camera is great, but the vid camera sucks.

i agree that samsung phones have the best designs, the e900 is the nicest looking phone i have ever seen, but practically they lag behind se and nokia. the screen quality does not match that of the n80, the e series, or the latest se phones, no radio, poor sound options, poor mp3 player and sound quality and limited memory options.

the d900 will be a lovely little phone, and the camera will be the best seen yet in a samsung, but other than that don't expect major revolutions.

**** Attention Cingular ****
This would be an excellemt selection to offer in the STATES. You would out sell all other brands in the US if you would just start offering decent phones.

PLEASE!!!!

Thamkyou. MLKIDS

I've been waiting for this phone since they released pictures of the D870. I still havent used my upgrade for this particular reason. I saw this phone along with the N73 and SE P990i in the 'Coming Soon' section on the O2 website. I immediately rang O2 to place my order as soon as it is released. They told me that they still do not have a release date and the the other 2 lesser phones will be launced on August 14. Anyone been told a similar story?

to unknown QQRW,

Again, it should be the other way around. It is Nokia and SE has to improved thier screen quality and video recording and playback to compete with samsung not to mention the designs.

Samsung phones does not have to put any flash or autofocus on thier phones because the screen already speaks for itself and the printing quality is on high quality. It is alway been said the samsung is the most practical phone maker.
