My D900i and a friend of mine's stopped charging through wall-chargers. Even bought a new one. It now only charges through the USB cable. I've read on a few website comments a lot of people experience this problem. And it's not cheap to get repaired. Watch out if you are interested in this phone..

52 character thing means:the filename shouldnt exceed 52 alphabets including the spaces between words

How can I install nimbuzz messenger? I downloaded and send it to my phone visa bluetooth, it just stored in "Other Files" Folder and there is no option to open this file for installation. Nimbuzz website shows , its compatible with D900i.I am confused

oh ... don't forget to check available javaworld first.
another thing ... gmail 2.x doesn't work yet with d900i (java error), instead use older gmail 1.5 (available at http://gmail.com/app/v1.5.0/L1/gmail-g.jar)

Overall it is not a bad phone, but I never got anywhere near the the battery life and/or talk time claimed for this phone. Would have liked to see programable time-out on profiles and adjustable time lapses between "you-have-a-message" reminder signals. I also found that the reception performance was not so good.

I usually charge the battery for 2 hours. It lasts only 1 or 1.5 days. I bought a new battery for backup. Should I turn it off and charge it for 24 hours? I thought it automatically turn off the charging when 100% battery is charged. You can email me at umer_s36@hotmail.com to discuss this. I shall be grateful.
